I thought the same thing with the album version. While its not bad, per se, and she does have a nice voice, there's nothing original or dynamic about it at all. Very safe. I've yet to listen to the whole album but yeah, not impressed with that particular cut.

I was supposed to get teeth yanked (wisdoms) last night but post-poned until school's done next week. And, I'll totally be saying this to my dentist. The dude's awesome. I hope he's seen the movie....

Fans, supposedly. The theory with raising the strike zone above the knees is to try and create more opportunities for players making contact and putting the ball in play. I'd guess most casual baseball fans would prefer the slug fest over the pitcher's duel....

Well, now that Nomar Garciaparra has retired, I'd guess that pitchers fidgeting about between each pitch is the greatest contributor to length of games. If the pitcher begins the wind up within the 20 seconds, the rule was designed that it's legit. If not, its a ball.

I don't think changing the intentional walk would shave even 2 minutes off per game. And yeah, it takes away the possibility of a wild pitch. Dumb change (if it gets voted in). FWIW, this potential rule was brought up a few years ago, along with a 20-second clock for pitchers to deliver a pitch (don't know why this one hasn't been tried out yet)...

LOVE the China-> Rider, LLR from this show. LLR is a tune I feel doesn't get a whole lot of love, often. I really, really like the evolution of the tune. I'm sure I've prated about this before, but it's such an anticipatory, rising action-like tune. Garcia's noodling guitar work towards the end, Brent often with the weather effect key sounds, Bobby free-form rapping, maybe some echo effect on vocals courtesy of Healy.....

Today I realized that I'm an e-mail hoarder, of sorts. Apparently, my pm box here was full (thanks Winston Legthigh for the head's up). My work email on Outlook currently has 14,152 e-mails in it dating back to '09. My personal e-mail on hot mail has 1,651 messages and is 48 pages long. What the hell?
