  1. Just watched a bunch of youtube videos on this guy. He is absolutely either crazy or an actor. How did this douche bag get a job? According to wiki, he made 23 mil last yeear.
  2. Even though I like a lot of their catalog, after seeing them live and hearing their most recent stuff, I can't help but question if Wayne Coyne is a true artist or a complete wannabee, talentless loser who just got lucky (a fluke?) with one great album (SB) and a couple decent, but overrated ones (Yoshimi, Transmissions, Clouds). Everyday, my opinion strays towards the latter.
  3. Listen, even if five people had Quebec in their top 20 albums, I would still stand by my original statement that Ween is generally underrated. And in a place like Via Chicago (where there are so many people who know their shit about music), I just wished more people would appreciate them. That's all.
  4. First of all, nobody "knows". I am an Atheist, there is absolutely no reason for me to believe in a Creator. I don't believe in anything supernatural and do not believe in an afterlife. It is not that I don't care, there is just no reason to worry about it. If serious evidence comes out in favor of an afterlife I will be the first to believe it, however until then it seems kind of ridiculous to believe in me floating up to the sky to be with my grandparents and ancestors when I die. What happens to an ant when it dies? Do you think ants go on to an afterlife or is it just for animals w
  5. The only reason they are on there is cause i put quebec and the mollusk at the top. I think one other person had these on his list.
  6. U2, Sublime, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and The Doors are all terrible. Pearl Jam sucks Ween is the best live band EVER. I hate how nobody on this forum seems to know or appreciate Ween. Phish is overrated and have gone downhill ever since their first album. Junta. They are also not nearly as good live as everyone says. But the most overrated artist of all time is Lou Reed. It's all garbage.
  7. I would consider myself I pretty big Flaming Lips fan and I have only listened to the new album twice, but it sounds like complete trash to me. Being a huge fan of Clouds Taste Metallic and Transmissions, I can handle the 'experimental' stuff, but this just seems forced. This album does not seem as musically brilliant as most of their other albums, and above all, it is annoying and corny. The song 'I Can Be a Frog' is one of the stupidest songs ever, and I have a feeling that if it was some other band it would be ripped apart. The whole time up to 'I Can Be a Frog' was a huge "meh", and t
  8. I got the cd today for 6.99 at newbury comics. Crazy Price.
  9. I am a huge BTS fan so I could be a little biased but... I love this album. Life's a Dream is up there with one of their best songs. I really like the way the album sounds, and every song is unique and special in its own way. Great stuff.
  10. although Merriweather Post Pavilion was great, I am pretty sure Built to Spill's new record (There is No Enemy) is going to be my favorite of the year based on streams and live material I have heard.
  11. just watched the first episode of season 4... It was good, but just a tease until the rest come out.
  12. Hey, if anybody has a waffles or what.cd invite i would greatly appreciate it... I have a demonoid invite if anyone wants to trade...thanks

  17. How the heck do i get tickets for north adams?
  18. I actually just finished cat's cradle today and i loved it. I loved both Breakfast of Champions and Cat's Cradle, so Slaughter-House Five is next.
  19. Just finished Breakfast of Champions, I really liked it a lot. ANy other recommendations?
  20. I have trouble finishing books. However, when I get into a good, interesting book I love it. What is a great book that will not lose me at any points? I am 21 and my attention span is not great when it comes to reading. That said, the length of the book does not matter as long as it is intriguing. My favorite book is Pillars Of The Earth. I would really like to read something great this summer. I tried Catch 22 after my friend went on and on about it, but it did not have the 'grasping' effect on me. So suggestions would be great and I'll look into them. I know a lot of you are into boo
  21. I really like in Sonny Feeling: 'Remember to show gratitude' and.. '...weekend news crew anchormen' (I just like the way it sounds)
  22. Great show, had a really good time, music was awesome. Misunderstood is freakin amazing, and I loved the encore. They sound unreal right now. The thing that bothered me was the whole beer situation...you needed a ticket to get a beer, and then once you found a person with tickets and obtained the beer, you could not go back into the other section until you were finished your beer. The over 21 section was terrible because there was a huge tent set up and you could not see the stage from next to the bar. The whole ticket thing pissed me off, and i let them know about it in my drunken stupo
