  2. I forgot Tig is going to be there. She really is incredibly funny. Watch Knock Knock, It's Tig Notaro or listen to her on Jeff Garlin's podcast. They really have organized a great lineup this year.

  6. I don't think a current audience would appreciate Dave and Teri's history, but it would be something. Letterman's heyday matched up well with my HS and colle years (84-92). He shaped my sense of humor almost single-handedly. I've said more than once in the past couple of weeks, "If you ever wondered how I became a sarcastic asshole, blame Dave."
  7. Zwan. Their LP is one of the 2 or 3 best LPs Billy Corgan has made (Gish and Siamese Dream being the others).

  10. Live in Cook County Jail was one of my early record purchases. Probably 1985 or 1986. Listened to it yesterday. He will be missed, but he had a great run!
  11. Yep. I remember when Liam refused to participate in Unplugged. Claimed he had a cold, but I think Noel didn't buy it. He rocked on Unplugged. I was surprised he didn't go solo right after that.
  12. The book by Barbara Tuchman is a great read.
  13. Nice thread, Sir. Surprised the Beasties only turned up once on your list. 5 (1975) - Beatles, but also Sesame Street as Lammy helped remind me. 10 (1980) - KISS 15 (1985) - Bowie 20 (1990) - Bob Mould 25 (1995) - Bob Mould / Sugar 30 (2000) - Miles Davis 35 (2005) - Wilco 40 (2010) - Wilco
