I watched that yesterday. I'm pretty sure I thought it was a white guy who pitched the no-hitter on acid. What a tremendous story and life that guy led. Also, the Twins spanked the shit out of the White Sox this weekend and are above .500!

We bought a used car that has a working (for now) XM radio. I'm nowhere near the deadhead most of you all in this thread are, but channel 23 is pretty sweet.

I think he meant to say exactly what he said. He doesn't have a Wilco CD. I don't think he was implying they're uncool. -
I have no doubt that much of what you say here is absolutely sincere. Those who follow these political threads probably label me as conservative. I still define myself by that term, though the test you just shared seems to show I am wrong. Usually when I respond to online political debates is when I feel I see either misinformation or poor logic. When I agree, I keep quiet. So they way people perceive my views is going to be largely determined by who else is in the di

You'd have to ask the members of the band. I would suggest a possibility is that they are willing to wait out the upcoming Supreme Court decisions.

Boycotts have proven to work time and time again. Sorry for Indiana fans, but they work.

I think the way Indiana and Arkansas have replied in face of serious economic impact shows that this stance is laughable. Is Wilco helping bring this law down? Maybe at a minscule level, but playing the show and making a bunch of empty, poetic platitudes from the stage would've gotten a lot of cheap applause, some positive posts here, and NO impact on real change.

How many Catholics would make sure a couple who comes into their bakery have not engaged in pre-marital sex or are on their first mattiage? I've sympathized with thos point and still do a bit, but if they want to actively discriminate against gays, then they better be trying to root out the other sinful unions. The more I think it through, the more I conclude it's discrimination plain and simple.
