I could see rhe conservative wing trying to rally around Cruz or Walker to prevent Bush from winning.

I used to only listen when the interviews were with people I was interested in. Now I listen to every episode. Brilliant interviewer!

Email from Wilco says tomorrow is the last day to download it for free if anyone on this board hasn't done it yet.

Football is the national pastime and the Hall of Fame game is the first taste for junkies like me after the off-season. I doubt any other preseason games garner ratings like that.

The real winner was inaugurated. Period. You can blame the electoral college for the person who won the most votes not winning, but Bush won more votes in Florida. http://www.nytimes.com/2001/11/12/politics/12VOTE.html

Geez. I had no idea he was that old.

References to Eisenhower got me to thinking... Could Colin Powell win as an independent? I don't think he wants the job, but let's assume he did. He's too moderate to get the Republican nomination. Probably in too deep with Iraq to get the Democratic nomination. He'd be a good no-nonsense leader.

I am doing my best to not consider political party when analyzing a candidate's fitness for the presidency. The question as to whether Trump's early success in the polls is a barometer of the current Republican party is a meaningless question to me. I won't vote for him if her runs as a Republican, independent, or anything else. As someone who's always considered themselves a libertarian Republican (not nearly as ideologically pure as a Rand Paul type), it's been hard to watch the movement of the Republicans to the right on everything. I am still registered Republican because I appreciate th

If I had his money, I'd hire Rusty Hardin. Dude has performed miracles for Adrian Peterson and Kurt Busch.

I saw St. Paul & the Broken Bones last week at a festival. Didn't know a thing about them. What a SHOW!

I remember Lou Reed being quoted saying essentially the same thing in 1987 on the 20th anniversary. I was a teenager into punk rock, the Velvets, Bowie, etc. so I ate it up. Today, I like Sgt. Pepper, but it's nowhere near as good as its legacy suggests. Revolver, Rubber Soul, Abbey Road, and most of the White Album is better.

I take my social studies students to an area Mosque every year. I know people who worship there and I respect and admire them. Are there a small number mosques that need to be monitored? Hell yes. Just like there right-wing hate groups that need to be monitored. That said, yeah, the debate was pretty pointless.

It will be great theater for sure. I was going to say political theater but changed my mind.

Make me an offer on it. I don't think I have the original box, just the 4 jewel boxes.

I kinda regret vuying that years ago. I listen to the studio stuff so much more.

These guys were the real deal.

Must be played at maximum volume. If your eardrums don't bleed, you're doing it wrong.

Saw them last night.

I just finished that book. I could not be happier that John Green is one of the most influential personalities for this generation of kids.

In either scenario, if Israel thinks Iran's nuclear capability is imminent, they will carry out airstrikes.

I watched it while pretty drunk. I don't recall many specifics, but enjoyed it very much!

Vinyl is pretty much the perfect definition of a luxury item. Music is available at low cost through CDs and downloads and, frankly, piracy. Vinyl may sound better, but I'd say the people who invest a lot of money in vinyl have also invested a lot in high-end audio equipment that would make CDs or even MP3s sound pretty great. I have friends who spend a lot on vinyl and that's cool. I've enjoyed re-living my own pre-digital days. But to complain about the prices of vinyl seems ridiculous. If it's too expensive, don't buy it.
