  1. Hey, all. I am trying to put together a good verison of this song for Capo 5 (could only find the open position version). Here is my reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wNtp81Ks9M...feature=related I am having difficulty getting the solo to sound right. Can someone take a look and help a brother out? Two questions: 1. at about 2:00 in the video we hear something like this: e-----2h3-3~-----2h3-3~------------------------------------------ B-----3----------3------------3---------------------------------- G---2----------2--------------0---------------------------------- D-0------

  3. I've got a Butcher Cover. Not sealed / mint; but pretty good shape.
  4. I found this one to be pretty good for that sort of thing: http://www.amazon.com/How-Write-Songs-Guit...8530&sr=8-1
  5. Darn, forgot about this one. Outstanding. Neil is at his best solo acoustic IMHO.
  6. Nice. All you guys are giving me GAS. Can anyone say 'economic guitar acqusition stimulus'?
  7. Nice. Hog tops have such a unique warm sound. Good call.

  10. I didn't see a good version of this posted yet, so I thought I would give it a shot. I might have went a little overboard on all the walking bass lines. Feel free to omit a few, as you feel fit. Feedback welcome. Thanks. 11. I just picked a copy of IATTBYH and saw the bonus second disk for the first time. Love the version of this song! It is not the usual Open D extravenganza from Sunken Treasure. It is regular old Drop D and standard chords. Here you go: (notice subtle lyrics differences, as well) Not for the Season - Jeff Tweedy (IATTBYH version) [ Drop D - D A D G B E (capo 2) ] Main riff: E ------------------- B ------------3------ G ------------2------ D ------------0------ A ------------------- D ---0-2h4-0--------- Riff [ x4 ] D Springtime comes and the leaves are back on the trees again

  14. Awesome job. Gonn a try this one out today, as well. I'll lt you know if I have any comments, but so far, looks darn good. Thanks!!!!
  15. BTW, I always prefer tuning down to D then capo up in lieu of tuning up to E. Less tension / stress / string-breakage. So..... No tab for the Open Eb version?
  16. Just picked up this DVD: Pretty good. It walks that fine line of good cheese / bad cheese. Overall, gotta give it a
  17. I would love to see a tab / transcription of this song in this tuning. Anyone wanna give it a go?
  18. My first song was "My Funny Valentine". We had the Susie Hansen Band play at our wedding.
  19. You might be right. Jeff has a fondness for capo 5, no? I guess they are many ways .,...

  21. I have been listening alot to the 04-06-2007 solo show, so here is another attempt at one of those tunes (also, inpsired by the recent AGIB thread). I didn't tab out the break. Gotta listen to the song for the descending progrssions and dynamics. Btw, I would love to see a solo guitar version of the piano intro from the LP. Anyone wanna take a stab? This may be beyond my meager abilities. Comments, corrections, feedback (as always) welcome. Enjoy!
