No doubt, they really lost their uniqueness after he left. Blue Album > Pinkerton were great, then no Matt Sharp and the last 3 albums were very sub-par. Funny though, I like the Rentals, they just don't match up to Weezer for me.

There we go, I just got the Bennett & Burch album "The Palace at 4AM" and it is quite amazing. Each song is different, the production is astounding. Each song itslef is extremely well written. A great listen all the way through.

Has anyone heard their new album, Planet of Ice, yet? Holy shit, I am calling this album of the year. For those who haven't, Mars Volta meets Animals era Pink Floyd meets The Disco Biscuits. This shit is just insane. The second a song is beginning to wear on you, BAM, some sort of change comes in that grabs you by the balls. I love it.

If anyone has this poster, who designed it and is it signed and numbered? I want to make sure I get an original and not a print. Thanks!

Remember when punk bands used to sell-out when they went to a major label? Did Wilco Sell-In when the went to Nonsuch FROM a major label?

Well, you can't tell me that ALL of those books are good...

Some are great and some are horrible. "In an Aeroplane Over the Sea" is awesome, in depth, but not too "nerdy". "OK Computer" is just way too nerdy, filled with how the length of each song makes the record and not enough about the music. It just depends who writes it.
