Can't stop thinking about this exhibit, "Documenting a Not so Distant Past" that I viewed on Wednesday. Shook me to tears so that I couldn't look any longer and had to get away to the restroom to cry it out a bit. Pictures are certailnly worth a thousand words. In many cases, in this exhibit, they are ugly and hateful words.

I'd like to declare that I am saving up all of my available funds in the hopes that we might get a Tweedy solo show in or around Little Rock some time. I might actually get my partner out of the house for a Tweedy show. He passed on the full band experience because he's "worn out" on Wilco because of me. I think attending a nice quiet solo show might bring him back into the Wilco fold. I'll cross my fingers and toes in hope that a solo show will make its way within our traveling range eventually.

I just saw the Walken ad for the first time too! I'm pretty sure it was when I was watching the Billie Jean King movie on ESPN Classic the other night.

The Bird commercials are available on YouTube through Marriott. They used several songs...but they are a bit changed up (which is what we should expect of Bird...he's a changer-upper.)

Yup, the plate guy is one of them! There are a few others that go along with it, all with folks performing circus acrobatic type stuff at Residence Inn.
