There are very few Sunday paper ads which have music (even new releases) any more. Best Buy is about the only one who has anything other than maybe one or two super-pop CDs. They've even had the new Wilco release a time or two over the past years. It's always cool to see Wilco in any form of mass media...So today, I thought maybe they'd have one or both of these in their ad today. Alas, no Wilco today. Nickelback instead. Sigh...

Think it'll be on Spotify? For WY20, I don't see the need nor the point. For AMF, I could see that... just wondering, buying AMF anyway.

Yeah, Fake Fur Coat is my favorite song on this disc. But the line "I couldn't hold you long enough" from "Where My Love" is definitely my favorite lyric since "half of it's you, and half is me". Gorgeous.

Listening to this one a few times this week. A couple thoughts... AD gets pretty lost in "A Little Help...", but they definitely add a beautiful harmony in the midst of some Lips-induced noise. I thought the DSOTM cover was more "Lips-ified" than this one is. I still like that one better than this one so far. I'll go ahead and say it - Miley Cyrus does a pretty darn good job on Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.

I picked up a night 2 poster yesterday before I left town, and they still had a few of each night for sale "behind the counter". I doubt if they will put them on the web site.

To all the people behind us in section 5, apologies for the banner signage. I tried to keep them brief and not too obnoxious. The "Happy 20th" got a nice nod, but the "Bull Black Nova" got waved off by Jeff at the start of the first encore... alas. Highlights for me on this second night - It's Just That Simple. Love hearing John sing that. - Candyfloss / I'm a Wheel in the first encore. - 30 totally different songs from night 1.... 60 songs... a lotta Wilco. 30 songs.... all over the place (pun intended). Highlights for me were: - Hearing a song that I've never heard before (Promising) - The Misunderstood acoustic / off-mic closer, including Jeff being "choir director" on our loudness for the nothings - Hearing my namesake song (Shot in the Arm), and watching Nels wave his guitar wildly for the ending, while Pat banged out the piano parts and Mikael used a pillow to abuse his keyboard to make amazing sounds. It's quite a spectacle. - One Wing... hadn't heard that in a while. So good. - Getting both Nels face-melters (Ashes and IG); the lighting
