  1. We looked all over for the diet version of that last month. Couldn't find it, and even the regular version was pretty scarce. It was a holiday favorite for us. Did you find it this year? The Sierra Mist cranberry is not nearly as good. Didn't try the pomegranate 7-up. Apparently pomegranate is the new cranberry.
  2. hmmm. I'd agree it won't be on a mix tape any time soon, but when you think about it in context of where it's at on the album, do you still put it below every one of the turds listed in this thread?
  3. I'm also embarrassingly late to the AB party. Been on a steady diet of Eggs and Armchair for a few days, and the guy really is great. Would love to see him live. Tables and Chairs is a perfect song. What about the older Bowl of Fire stuff? What's that like? (btw - I expect bonus points for using the search function)
  4. I like that category. Mine would be "Jane Says". The louder, the better.
  5. You're welcome. Nice to see this guy doing well.
  6. Reminds me of that line in Toy Story - "That's not flying. It's falling... with style!"
  7. Inspired by MB... this was/is good stuff.
  8. True story: I was walking along the harbor in Hong Kong a couple years ago, and this "band" of Chinese guys had set up and was playing this very song out on the walkway. Actually, it was more of "Tell Raura I Ruv Her." It was one of the more bizarre, surreal moments of my lifetime.
  9. I heard an Alan Parsons Project song on Sirius today. I hadn't thought about him in eons. I'd like to listen to Ammonia Avenue or Eve again.
  10. This is one of the first "you always remember where you were..." moments of my life. After all, I'm at least 4 months older than Scott. Freshman year of college, finals week, and this rocked our world. I will never forget the cover of RS with the picture of John and Yoko after that. One of the most moving pictures I've ever seen.
  11. ^ Remember, it's always noon somewhere. Happy Birthday Scott!! Find a way to stay warm up there. Feel free to be creative.
  12. Anybody heard the Bela Fleck CD "Jingle All the Way"? How is it?
  13. I think it's in that other thread.
  14. So which part of that whole "Declaration of Independence" thing didn't you understand? You know, life, liberty, pursuit of crappy grammar? All that rot? The US of A, baby. That is where Wilco is recording the new record. And I mean it.
  15. Methinks thou art mocking us.
  16. So why is that people who speak English with funny accents (as in Aussies and Brits) insist on treating singular nouns referring to multiple people (as in "Wilco" or a company name like "GM" or "the government") as plural? I have never understood that ... do tell.
