This is our fault as a consumer society, not the government or Wal-Mart or big bidness. Yes, WM is a machine and a nasty one at that. Yeah, that's a really good point. It's exciting to "move right in" as soon as you close, and that's probably what most people do on a first home. But having some time to paint, clean up, replace lights, etc, with an empty place is really really going to make it more livable when you do move in. DO IT!!!!!!!!!
