What a fantastic record. Anyone looking for a "lost" classic that likes the Kinks and Who should give this a try.

Movies Watched with the Most Tissues Needed

I remember a few years back up at a cottage. I was outside with a friend for a bit. We went back into the cottage to start dinner and found our girlfriends--sisters by the way--bawling hysterically. I was like, "my god, what happened, what's wrong?" Well after about 20 seconds the sobbing subsided enough for one of them to point at the screen. Turns out they were watching "The Notebook." I seriously thought something really bad had happened. I'd seen my girlfriend cry at movies before, but not like that. Her sister was even worse. As for myself, I've cried at quite a few films over the years -

Protesting a Pet sounds victory by making your own pet sounds. Interesting... -
Looking at this list I realize how many I haven't listened to in quite some time. Also realize how many have completely fallen out of favor over the year. Nevertheless a few of those still standout as excellent records.

I hope that people stick with their "true" top 20 and not a strategic one, otherwise it sorta defeats the whole integrity and purpose of the whole thing. -
I do love this record. It has to be one of the best honky tonk records ever.

Charles Wright . I have "In the Jungle, Babe" & "Express Yourself," plus a greatest hit compilation. A lot of great songs there for sure. -
