I actually haven't read Satanic Verses, but I loved Midnight's Children. I'm about 100 pages into: I'm enjoying it, but I've been busy and it's slow going for me. Add that to the fact that you can only check out new books for 14 days at a time from our libraries, with no renewals ... and I really don't know how it's going to get finished. It was due on Tuesday.

The Hideout was just such a perfect location for Jon. The whole weekend was pretty glorious, though. I have some pictures as well.

I'll be busy when this is on, but I hope someone can save it. I'd love to hear their recording of this show.

A wonderful post, Kevin, and you did it with no quoting and only one emoticon! I should also add that it was great to see and/or meet everyone on Friday night, and also to hang out with the Madison crew at the pre-preparty featuring the AD on Thursday night.

HEY! One of my dreams is to hear this done by the full band. I still hold out hope! Sounds great, you guys! I can't wait to see pictures, etc. Jeff has really gone way above and beyond this year at all of these shows. As if he didn't previously.

Can you Europeans tell us about these venues? Big, small, club, theater, etc.?

Having been there, I can safely say, that did NOT happen.
