I'm with you A-man. That's how I have felt about Jack ever since the early days of the Stripes.. I don't hate him or anything but his music and guitar playing has always just seemed sort of.... pretentious or something. However as I have said before, I think he hits it out of the park with his old-school country/folk stuff that he did for the Cold Mountain soundtrack.

I'm seeing her on the 23rd in Knoxville. I'm not a huge fan, but heard she puts on an excellent show, and not just because she's excellent to look at.

Let me know how that goes. I'm seeing him on the 23rd. I'm curious to see what kind of line-up he's bringing on this tour (or if any line-up at all).

I think Jack White is really great at the Country/Folk stuff he has done, like on the Cold Mountain Soundtrack. Everything else meh.. A lot of people see him as some guitar God or something, and he's way overrated in my opinion.

It's funny, I had never noticed the eyes blink until my 8 year old son pointed it out. Guess I never really looked at it long enough, but we were watching the recent ACL performance, and he started giggling and pointed it out.... I thought he was full of shit, but sure enough I re-winded and saw it.

I met him after a show in Charleston, and all I had time for was to thank him and Michael both for coming out to visit fans in the rain. Classy dudes, those Wilcos.
