Fox Theatre in Detroit: Seat prices (excluding service fees) are: 45, 65, 85, 125, and 175. So IMO, in Detroit anyway, it seems he is employing tiered pricing to thwart scalpers, plus I noticed he is utilizing will-call for the highest price seats. Edit: Doug - that system exists. Tom Waits used it (in conjunction with Ticketmaster) on his tour a few years ago.
