I like Deer Tick and sort of didn't think I would, but they grew on me. However - I have not yet heard The Black Dirt Sessions from 2010. I need to do that. Here's some 30-second snippets just for sampling. http://www.partisanrecords.com/artists/deer-tick/catalog/the-black-dirt-sessions (Merged 2 threads here, even though that thread was 1 year old.)

it works for me, just using the URL. No codes - no embed codes, no "insert media" code. Just the youtube URL.

Somehow I missed this when it was posted on Youtube. But here it is ... MOJO (Documentary Directed by Sam Jones).

Via Chicago's Top 100 Albums of All Time: Summer 2010 edition

I think you should make a list. I'd love to see it - from one 50-year-old music-lover to another. I'll make one if you will. -
I think Wilco's mgmt team, Tony Margherita Management, has someone who handles posters. Contact TMM for more info. The address for TMM is located here: http://www.wilcoworld.net/info/index.php

Wilco is in limbo label-wise (see this thread for more discussion), and have spent a good deal of time with 2 of the Radiohead guys in NZ for the "7 Worlds Collide" record. I also note on Wilco's "info" page that they list their Label as: TBA. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Can't you delete your vote and try again?

Yeah, no worries Ken. You have been kind to sell us a seat when you could. I actually was at a lovely small show (50 people) to hear a solo performance by Bill Mallonnee of Vigilantes Of Love right here in Fort Wayne that night, very special too, as my 82-year-old mother also attended with me, and it was her first experience seeing an acoustic folk music performance, and said she had never seen anyone up that close playing guitar. And a big plus for her? "I could understand all the lyrics!"

I can't believe I'm the only one with a "Sky Blue Sky" vote. Oh, I see LouieB is just a "write in" and didn't vote in the poll. Oh, and for me it was a toss-up between "Sky Blue Sky" and "Side With The Seeds," but the former won out just by a inch.

Wilco on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson May 10
Wendy replied to u2roolz's topic in Just A Fan
No, silly! Some of the photo shoot was in their home. There were shots of Jeff jamming with his kids. I think a youtube thingy too. However, I am not able to look for a link ("working" hahahah) They were at the hot dog place too. That's probably what most people remember. Sorry to be unclear. -
Wilco on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson May 10
Wendy replied to u2roolz's topic in Just A Fan
I would hope that since Wilco employs a publicist that she would have handled this. I seem to recall reading something about the Spin magazine cover story that their publicist was on-site (in the Tweedy home) to handle things. So she was probably there at Craig Ferguson as well. Cool job, no? And for the record, I love Deeper Down. Since hearing it on day #1. I thought it was a very good performance. -
This is a very selfish standoff. And she hid her feelings for a year, now turning into anger? Uh-oh. These are two big red flags for future happiness IMO. Hope you can salvage the relationship through compromise and communication. Do people get marriage counseling before marriage these days?

I have a Magellan and I will never buy another one, it is a persnickety damn thing, and updating the maps and misc info was too expensive. I'd rather just buy a new GPS. I assumed it would be a free update until I actually decided I needed an update and found out about the charges. One day I borrowed my brother's TomTom and it was so easy to use. I have no experience with the Garmin. Here's a little tip that might save you some problems. If you are parked in a parking garage, don't turn your GPS on until you get out into the street. My GPS, if you turn it on when it can't get a

hahaha - Oh, I'm still holding out for Wilco at The Embassy Theatre. That's my kind of venue anyway. I think we're about the same size population-wise. To be honest, Greg, I'm not sure Fort Wayne was ever in the running for this summer baseball field gig to begin with. We have a brand new downtown baseball stadium (Parkview Stadium is only 1 year old) and we have already been awarded one concert this summer - Zac Brown Band, a very forgettable easy-listening country band that they expect 10,000 tickets to be sold at 40 bucks each. They are bland IMO, but nothing as horrible as G

Nice! Congrats to your school, Tom.

Yeah definitely last week and this week's episodes were really intense, edge of your seat drama. These 2 episodes really showed Hank falling apart but accepting responsibility for losing it. The final couple of minutes or so with the anonymous phone call tip-off (whose disguised voice was it? Gustavo? Mike? Who knew Hank's phone number anyway? The sleazy attorney?). And the final scene with Hank fumbling for the bullet, ending with the axe sticking upright in the cement were amazingly well done, fantastic scenes. I had to watch that episode a second time. I love this show. And if
