Oh goodie, she's "interested." I bet she's interested in waffles, too... and tapestries. One of my co-workers arrived in Myanmar in August for a two year teaching stint. Schools were closed this week because of the unrest, but so far he's okay. Within walking distance of the Embassy, too.

I learned by reading just a couple of those links, and it was super easy. You can find free bit torrent software online and download it in two shakes of a lamb's tail. If I can do it, you can do it.

Interesting--didn't know that story. Just over an hour show? That sucks. How much to see him there? He's going to be at Shank Hall tomorrow night, but it $20. After seeing the whole band at a "free" (sans admission to the festival) show at Summerfest this year, I have a hard time shelling out $20 for an hour of Rhett. As nice as he may be to look at, it's bizarre that for $8 more I can see 2+ hours of Wilco. And for less I can see Spoon or New Pornographers at the Pabst. I don't know--I love the 97s and Miller, but I think there's some inflation going on...

They were decent at clapping, too. Great set list. Maybe they'll add Shouldn't Be Ashamed for the next leg? A girl can dream.
