  1. That's like finding out Van Gogh just died or something. Weird.
  2. You may be the only person I have ever hear of that picked No Code as their favorite PJ album. Good for you though!
  3. Really? Would be a good day to take off work then!
  4. Your Karma Chameleon is eventually going to catch up on you.
  5. I run hot and cold on Baseball but I am really looking forward to this year for some reason. Now if I could just tell a slider from a cut fastball I would really feel like a fan. There is something about baseball that just brings out the little kid excitement in me. Lammy, let's take in a Rockies game this year.
  6. Agreed, Tommy has some great songs that sound even better live.
  7. Clearly it's: 1. Ten -Still the best. 2. Vitalogy - The Kurt Cobain influenced songs still kill me. 3. Vs. - Didn't everybody buy this the day it came out? 4. Yield - Kind of a toss up with Binaural. 5. Binaural - Light years is one of the best songs they have ever done. 6. Pearl Jam 7. Riot Act 8. No Code
  8. I'm way biased I admit. I don't trust anybody musically who does not like the Beatles and I don't trust any guitarist who does not like Jeff Beck. I think the Hall of Fame should take into account incredible musicians who may not be popular outside of certain circles. Jeff Beck did not really have the commercial appeal but it would be ridiculous to not put him in the hall. There is nobody that sounds like him and his influence is huge. Ask most people who James Jamerson is and you will probably get a blank stare, but clearly he belongs in the hall. Personally I think Guns and Roses is w
  9. Harvest Moon - Neil Young Trace - Son Volt Anything mellow and acoustic really.
  10. Not sure why but always like this one: Wave upon wave of demented avengers walk cheerfully out of obscurity into a dream or Balanced on the biggest wave, you race towards an early grave I love Roger Waters' lyrics. And of course theres always Westy: How do you say I miss you to an answering machine?
  11. Wow, that's a hard one. For now I'm going with: Hey, Ho...Let's Go!
  12. Love Pearl Jam. Seen them many, many times in concert.
  13. First Tattoo, now Mr. Roarke. I think it's a Fantasy Island curse.
  14. Animals - Pink Floyd Bee Thousand - Guided by Voices Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain - Pavement Murmur - REM
  15. A few that come to mind: Cheap Trick Replacements The Cars Yay for Wanda Jackson though!
  16. Looking for somewhere to stand and stay I leaned on the wall and the wall leaned away Can I get a minute of not being nervous and not thinking of my dick
  17. I have to agree, it feels more old school in the NL but sometimes it's just painful to watch a pitcher try to bat. They each have their own flavor. I miss the Bay Area sometimes, I could choose between Giants or A's depending on mood.
  18. Texas Flood - Stevie Ray That tone and soul mesmerized me when I first heard it. Tim - Replacements - It's the First one I heard by them.
  19. Sadly I won't be there but if I could, must sees would be: Arc Angels - If this is the original line up it would be my number 1 choice. Jason Isbell Primal Scream Ra Ra Riot The Sonics
  20. Wow, I love your enthusiasm. Good advice. You inspired me to go write a song!
  21. That's a great choice, very underrated in most guitar circles.
  22. Based on my limited experience I think this is the point where somebody will now post "The Doors Suck" and/or "LA Woman sucks".
