Agreed. We'll see what the rest of the crew thinks.

I'll mention it to someone who has the superpowers to create such a thing. Edit: OK, I've thrown out the bat-signal to the other mods/admins. My personal preference would be to keep sports stuff in TTL, though. Mostly because, like Analogman, I fear change.

The Australian import with the EP is available on Amazon, if you really want the discs. Or, you can download mp3s of the EP from wilcoworld.net.

Hey baseball fans, I'm currently cutting off threads on Now Reading, Now Watching, etc., at 500 posts, and starting a new one. Does someone want to start a new thread on acquisitions, etc., for the new year, and we'll shutter this one? Thanks.

I like Oasis, to an extent, but yeah, he's certainly entertaining.

Go to the forums by typing forums.viachicago.org, and to the torrents through bt.viachicago.org. Once you're at the log in page, and it says you're already logged in, have you tried clicking around? For some reason, however I've got my bookmarks set, even when I'm logged in, it takes me to a page asking me to log in. But then if I just click on Browse, that takes me to the torrents list. Or when you do that, does it still ask you to log in again?

Our girls are officially "freaked out" by the bitty babies. Yeah, the electronic voting, with no paper trail, still bothers me. Not that I'm going to suggest any of the results in this election be overturned , but even aside from fraud or hacking issues, unreliable machines are still a possibility. And there were certainly allegations of voter intimidation and misinformation being provided to potential voters.

I love the curls... but he looks like he's going to cut me!

I wasn't going to admit that I knew that. (Kit is actually my favorite American Girl. She's the Depression Era AG, and she's what I picture my Great-Auntie Kay must have looked like in the 1930s.)

Anyone read the recaps on Television Without Pity? Check out the title of this week's Lost recap.

Best quote of the night from last night's coverage (although, we were flipping around the channels so much, I can't remember who said it): Everyone in the room had the same response to that one: oh yeah, we can imagine what gesture he'd like to make! Second best quote:

Yeah, that one got really old, really fast. And for whoever said that Pelosi is a nasty, rich bitch: there are plenty of San Francisco politicians who are known to be pure evil off-camera, but who get re-elected anyway because their stands on the issues are what SF wants them to be (and because their public personae are all sweetness and light). But just try to find a local with anything bad to say about Pelosi; you'd have a tough time of it. Give me the politician who is up-front about who she is and what's she fighting for any day.

Yeah, those are a cute couple of boys. I'm also a fan of the long hair. I don't know if you've ever seen any knitting-pattern catalogs, but the ones that my mom has are full of the goofiest-looking kids. A picture like that would sell a lot more sweaters!

That's the place! Lambs, fabulous vistas, Beatrix Potter merch, and overpriced hiking gear.
