  1. there is also a photo I took of Tweedy on the left top of the 2nd shelving unit, rightside.
  2. yeah there are two IKEA chairs and a footrest that I cleared out for the photos. some people were freaking out on instagram about having the records right next to the fireplace. first off,i barely use it, and secondly, when there's a fire, the edge of the shelving unit is not affected by any rise in temperature. there is way too much in the way of it to be a concern. did anyone notice the small Wilco framed show poster over the stereo, in the corner? TCP, i definitely did swerve hard into CD purchases in the 90s but there were still some artists that I continued to buy in vinyl format.
  3. are being profiled in a feature via The Vinyl Factory. kinda neat-o! https://thevinylfactory.com/features/home-grown-records-are-a-way-to-connect-with-people/
  4. i made the exact same point in my review: https://digboston.com/fotobom-foo-fighters-dinosaur-jr-speedy-ortiz-fenway-park-night-two/
  5. i will try that, thanks! yep, that was the issue. you rule.
  6. anyone else have issues logging in with chrome? it's weird... I cleared my cache and can't login via my work laptop, but my home PC is fine using chrome. I get this error on the work one: (hmmm... now I can't even cut/paste into this post using IE!)
  7. or your watch... he needs a new one.
  8. 100% agree. he had a blown voice for the boston show but still played the same amount of songs as on previous shows this tour. i guess i might be the only one who's OK w/ a set duration of 75-90 min, which is pretty ideal for most bands i'd say. my biggest pet peeve for static set lists is Blue Oyster Cult, who trot out the same 10-12 songs each time. two years ago they played Psycho with a teaser that it would be a deep cuts set list, but aside from "Tattoo Vampire" it was anything but (they'd already added "Golden Age Of Leather" a couple years back).
  9. they are my photos. unfortunately i was kept to the far side of the stage near Jonny but did what i could!
  10. photos and review of the 2nd boston show https://digboston.com/fotobom-radiohead-td-garden/
  11. i was pretty happy to hear The Tourist and Talk Show Host
  12. man i only saw one! still, seeing Sleep play three songs i've never seen them do was a fair trade.
  13. turns out it's been Los Lobos all along! (this is a Village Voice page from '92)
  14. eh, i get why they wanted to do the big reveal like that.
  15. nice! will definitely be getting a copy.
  16. yeah i was worried the unannounced headliner would be someone like Neil Young... i have shed zero tears that i missed the Mumfords. was your disappointment in who the unannounced act was, or how it was revealed?
  17. you can bring low chairs but the center part of the main stage is a chair-free zone. harbor and quad stages have chairs. i don't think rental chairs are available. i think you can bring in food and water but no alcohol or glass. this should be on the FAQ for the NFF site? daily parking is $20 and there are shuttle buses that run from the various lots to the festival site. otherwise, it's a decent walk but not too long (well, long if you've got a couple of chairs and a cooler with you). if you do drive, the earlier the better as your time getting out is shorter. no lie, the 2015 festival took m
  18. i saw Body/Head and the Gunn/Truscinki Duo last night. both were good.
  19. no offense to the mendoza line, but i think this is a bit more appropriate https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tif6KhnFcVo
  20. i mean, if the entire press conference lasted for just that one sentence, he *might* have a semi-plausible case (if we ignore all the other shit he's continually lied about before that).
  21. Dio hologram happened a few years ago.
  22. a friend of mine traveled to the Krakow show as well. and he's going to the Montana show later. i don't think he's so good on directions.
  23. https://luovarecords.bandcamp.com/album/litku-klemetti-taika-tapahtuu
  24. i can't complain as i got a good press ticket (about 7 rows up from the floor, about a third back from the main stage on Edge's side), but the 25% seems high to me... if you are on the ends of the 'catwalk axis' i can see how viewing would be tough when the band is on the opposite side, and that said i don't know how wide that catwalk was so maybe it was worse than it looked.
