  1. 200 Years - Holyoke (project with Ben Chasny and Elisa Ambrogio)
  2. laughing at hte name.. last year when i was in Iceland, i met via a mutual friend an Icelandic guy who's facebook name was Gunnar Yellowegg.
  3. Endless Boogie is playing a record store tonight, and Pallbearer is playing a free show in PVD. i'll be at neither.
  4. Darnielle's voice is, for me, the kinda dealbreaker w/ Mt Goats.
  5. Wear Your Wounds - S/T (solo record by Converge vocalist Jacob Bannon)
  6. Kool Keith as Dr. Octagon kinda mailed it in last night (was almost two hours late from his initial set time start, read most of the lyrics from a teleprompter at the monitors, was on stage for the grand total of about 37 minutes) but damn do these songs still carry some weight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhmiAukE_hM
  7. maybe someone can set up a live feed for the Being There set... so it'll be like i'm being there. :rimshot:
  8. they played that in Boston, but the synth drums still sound pretty dated.
  9. thanks! yeah, the Cavs made the glaring holes of the C's pretty obvious, but they are in a better place than most teams.
  10. imo the weakest of the post-reformation LPs. didn't end up buying it.
  11. mine came in the mail the other day... with you in remote solidarity, which ever day is selected.

  13. /endthread actually, this qualifies in spades https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFspexYC9p8
  14. those are my favorite Go-Betweens and Meat Puppets records.
  15. no. i had to choose between Migos and Mac, and i chose Migos. it's ironic that i could have shot both; Migos had their DJ/hype guy go on for almost 20 minutes before they got on stage, so i would have had enough time to make it from the blue to the green stage. i did see Mac do an interview w/ someone, both jammed in a porto-let.
  16. for anyone curious, here's the rundown of the first two days (I am only doing photos, not writing this time, which is perfect because doing double duty and turning around photos and copy the next morning is a lot of work). Kevin Morby's set was fantastic yesterday. you SSF'ers definitely should not miss it. https://digboston.com/day-one-growing-pains-as-boston-calling-matures/ https://digboston.com/day-two-come-for-the-openers-stay-for-the-comedy-at-boston-calling/
  17. dasradiohead, i would have been down for a trade but i'll be elsewhere that weekend.
  18. ah, 3S is cool. a friend of mine used to book it, but he got sacked unfortunately. i dig his taste in music a lot, but i think it was a bit too esoteric for the area... I always wear earplugs at shows. my hearing is screwed up enough as it is.
  19. they are gonna need to be multi-assed players to dig out of the Cavaliers' hole...
  20. Thanks Moss! i'd never heard "Seasons" before yesterday and it's a great song.
  21. name is very very vaguely familiar. where did they play? i saw Metallica last night. that was a solid, big budget rock show.
