Multi-night run at the Orpheum is always the best.

When I saw this show was upcoming this particular week I started wondering if there would be any PGA folk in the house, and whether Jeff would be aware that the TPC (one of every golf fan's favorite tournaments) is being played this week. So kudos to Jeff for being aware. And just for the record, I played the championship course with my son before he went off to college and we both parred 17. Not a single ball in the water in our 4-some. So take that PGA pros!

Having nothing to do with the Times piece, but I always thought the thing with the lighting is he suffers from Meunière’s Disease. I don’t count myself in the “he’s a crappy songwriter” camp. Prisoner is one of my favorite albums of the last several years. I was looking forward to his 3 releases this year. The one song I heard sounded good to me. I was late to the RA bus and then I often heard what an asshole he is. I didn’t know what that was about, I never saw it and I pretty much just listened to the music. What has been revealed is so beyond the pale. Sickening. Time will tell what

Dusty Grooves is another site that sells used vinyl. I’ve never bought used vinyl over the internet, feel like I need to see it and hold it first. Awesome photos Tim. I was talking with my 29 year old son about Sleep. He’s seen them 2x (once in a small club in Austin the year Levitation was cancelled because of floods) and freaking loves their shows. Didn’t you see them in Iceland, or on some frozen island in Scandinavia? I have some vague memory of that and was looking for your photos from that show. Did that happen? Exactly the reasons I’ve always stayed away from philzone, etc. I miss the DOS days of The WELL. Don’t get me wrong, I totally get the enormous psychic draw of the Dead scene, but I don’t live my life according to quotes from the lyrics nor have any of my GD friends or other fellow travelers I’ve hung with along the way. I will add last night’s MSG Phish show to my list. Got to go with my soon to be 29year old son. He was 7 (and my daughter was 9+) when we took a family outing for their first Phish show, the famous Worcester Runaway Jam show. I was at that Zak Wylde show at a Great Woods and I was pissed. Dickey had gotten arrested or something after the previous show in Albany. They should have cancelled the Great Woods show. Zak was so out of place, with his bullseye guitar and strange prancing heavy metal act. I felt so ripped off I boycotted the band for several years. I was surprised Rather didn’t ask him about his alcohol abuse and feuding with band members. I always thought that’s what got him kicked out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
