  1. California Stars, 6:35 a.m. on the Maginnes on Tap show PGA Tour network on Sirius/XM (which was replaying a show from last night).
  2. He's a special person, Shug, no doubt. One of my favorite lines, talking about playing with Clapton and looking over on stage and saying to himself: "Oh shit, that's Eric Clapton over there."
  3. I couldn't find a Derek Trucks topic here. He's definitely one of my top few favorites. Not just his playing (which is otherworldly), but his entire vibe, appreciation of music and music heritage, etc. Came across this interview today. I think all music fans should spend 20 minutes listening to Derek Trucks talk about music.
  4. Me too. My wife and friends laugh at me, but you and I know better!
  5. As if I wasn't already, but now I'm really glad to be getting on the road this summer to see them. Maybe not again until Solid Sound.
  6. Very sad. Bare Trees always holds a special place in my musical heart.
  7. Phish tonight in Worcester. First show of the tour. I'm one generation removed from being caught up in the setlist and jam analysis mania, but having been there with the GD, I can appreciate the sentiment. http://livemusicblog.com/2012/06/06/a-bucket-full-of-thoughts-on-phish-in-2012/
  8. Good news and bad news about this tour for me. Bad news is my wife loves Neil, but not Crazy Horse. Good news is I only have to buy 1 ticket.
  9. I was wrong, $275.05 with all the ripoff fees, etc. But you get a free digital download of Americana. Not quite the same as getting fellated! More like getting raped. But I may sign up for the program.
  10. Phish, tomorrow. Would like to get tickets this week for Neil and Crazy Horse, but at $270 a ticket in the Boston Garden, I'll have to think about that one.
  11. I'll add to my list, both are excellent: Tedeschi Trucks-Everybody's Talkin' (live) Lettuce-Fly Heartless Bastards-Arrow, still my favorite of the year.
  12. This is on the iPad book they released today. For free.
  13. This is pretty cool. Some awesome photos.
  14. MassMOCA! With only 900-1000 people in that small room, it would be a blast to pull this off. Any choreographers out there?
  15. OK, hearing of this is a first for me. What the heck is a living room concert, and how does one be fortunate enough to attend, or more crazy, be like happiechick and host one of these??? And what a great setlist that is.
  16. Just saw it during the Celts game, after just having seen it here: http://viachicago.org/topic/47873-sprint-commercial/
  17. That's great! I don't watch commercials, but I would watch that one.
  18. They didn't encore at Hangout either (I think). It's a festival thing, but I am surprised they didn't get a full 90 minute set here.
  19. close out your window and then reload, it worked for me.
  20. Jeff's vocals sound very strange. I'm assuming its a function of the webcast. Or else he must not be feeling too well. Who's better than Glenn?!
