How were the shows? Considering going on Friday. Saw them in 2019 and that show wasn't as great as earlier tours...

I caught one of those three shows at the Pageant in 2008! Definitely in the top tier of the shows I've seen! Probably helped that Jeff's dad was in the audience. My intro to Alan Sparhawk (whose band Retribution Gospel Choir opened) and the precursor to my love for LOW.

Yeah. We might need a new thread title. Larry not being on the stage with a performance billed as U2 is not good news for u2 fans.

Just in case the folks from HQ see this, please post these shows on the wilcoworld website! None are currently listed. -
Electronic version of Bob Dylan's Beard from a soundcheck is so cool. I would love a cd of stuff like this and Unlikely Japan.

Sharp contrast on Riviera tickets vs the YHF 20th on sale. Still presale tickets left this go around. I'm loving it.

Did I miss an announcement about Nels using his middle name now?

Paul - this is so well done. Congrats and thanks. enjoying this!

That makes sense. Just released as a roadcase and was a recording I used to listen to all the time prior to Ghost coming out. Highly recommend a listen...

Wow. What a great bunch of programming. I'm going crazy for the old electric version of spiders right now. I forgot how much I love this go at it.
-
It's additionally impressive that they have this kind of material and that it sounds good enough to release - the Silverdome (indoor football stadium which has since been imploded) was notorious for terrible sound.

That's a fantastic show. I used to have that entire tour on CDRs and Pittsburgh was my favorite go-to. I even went to that fest the following year when Wilco played and that show ranks near the bottom of Wilco shows for me. Go figure.
-
I was thinking of catching the tour too. Interesting to know.

Jeff is playing a Get Out the Vote rally in Dekalb Wednesday at the Egyptian. With Lauren Underwood.

Ha, seems really possible your back deck could fit more people than Hideout.

My friend is making a documentary on the J45 so this was quite hilarious to me. I scrambled to capture the banter for my friend who wasn't there - here's the video: -
That would be weird indeed. I guess NY is in the same boat as Chicago where both got the Yankee tour but not yet the CC tour. Some other notable major markets that haven't seen shows/upcoming dates for CC are Austin/Dallas/San Francisco/Seattle. So maybe there is hope for a '23 winter theater tour. I hope so. The CC tour impressed me more than I thought it would.
-
Well, here's hoping for a Winterlude in '23 - their email that hit my inbox today said the current run is the last set of shows for 2022.

Mt Joy is likely playing 45-60 minutes. They are a big draw not a typical opening act.
