  1. Wire + St Vincent is only playing one song. I'm hoping Wire plays a few more on their own. Seems like a waste to set up gear for one song, right?
  2. Drill Jon Spencer Bues Explosion, Wire + St Vincent etc
  3. The MCA and Pitchfork collaboratively present a new conversation series called In Sight Out about new perspectives in music, art, and culture. The first two talks feature Jeff Tweedy of Wilco and Carrie Brownstein of Sleater-Kinney, each speaking candidly about their artistic process and music today. All talks are hosted by the MCA and moderated by a member of Pitchfork's editorial staff. Jeff Tweedy July 16, 6 pm Jeff Tweedy discusses his innovative and influential work as the singer and songwriter behind seminal Chicago band Wilco. Tweedy is
  4. .8 miles to the Vic 3500 kilometers to Thunderbird Stadium in Vancouver to see Dandy Warhols/Wilco/REM bill in 2003
  5. Courtney Barnett was great. Beautiful sloppiness at the end. Would have gone to Mulaney if I was in Chicago Saturday (went to the UHF screening with Weird Al Wed which was great). How was JM?
  6. Interesting. I might go, first come first served makes me nervous about trekking all the way there and not getting in.
  7. That was really cool. Thanks for posting.

  14. Great openers announced so far for the August shows: Jenny Lewis, Speedy Ortiz and Vetiver.
  15. Thanks for sharing that intended setlist. I was wondering. IG seemed and still seems like a weird last song choice to me. Is it in Nels' contract that they have to play it?
  16. MN is confirmed on wilcoworld Also posted is a show in Salt Lake City on Aug 18. Still five days between Seattle and ID shows...
  17. They had some vinyl at the merch table. At least one wilco record (BT?) and an Autumn Defense as well. The table had a seriously long line. No cowbell on HV
  18. Warren Haynes sit in tonight? Derrick trucks? Both are in town. Would love an allmans cover.
  19. Solid show. Was a bit worried about the crowd at first. Sitting until the crashing section of via. Then up the rest of the show! Which was great. Good mix of tunes. Hootenanny was the "green" portion of the set using less energy. Watching mikael on A Shot's conclusion was so amusing (the typical pillow to the keys section)! My first time seeing Panthers and Camera! Jeff commented on it being ten years to the day they played the same venue. How often does that happen?! There is a shirt for sale with Spring tour dates on the back. Also a cool shirt with a lion on it. Not sure if that on
