Sonic Shoulder makes a terrific point, which is, be honest with who you know your own child to be...and don't push them into a situation you love, but which will be uncomfortable for them. I took my daughter to her first Wilco concert (first concert ever) at age 8 and a half, and at this age she was ready and had a fantastic time. But not every child is the same. Know your own child.

Yeah, I agree, I think it's at least 5 feet. Pretty fat & healthy, too. Glad I did meet up with it while on foot. I was noticing some specks of red on him ("You've got red on you" haha) and wondering if maybe he was injured. Or maybe that's just from the last rabbit he ate. Hahahahaha. Met this dude the day before yesterday, driving up to see the giant sequoias of Grant Grove in Sequoia Nat'l Park. He was in the road about 4 feet from my car, glaring and rattling his ass off. I chose to stay in the car.

Try "I don't see it that way." instead of "That's bullsh*t!" or "I don't care for that band" rather than "That band sucks!" It's called civility." Perfectly fine to dislike something. Not okay to state categorically that something is crap simply because it is crap to you. Differing tastes keep the world interesting. How boring if we all had exactly the same tastes!

Could you also include a line about people who insist on starting a clapalong on songs that just aren't clapalongable, and the beauty of which is covered up in the loud, ill-fitting clapping? I don't mean rockers where Jeff encourages clapping, and it fits and it's fun...I mean, clapping along with things like "She's A Jar" or "Reservations". What? But maybe it's just me. who doesn't like it. :shrug

Yeah I can listen to this over and over. I've mostly been listening to the terrific live versions from Solid Sound. Incredibly good.
