Hahahahaha, twenty minutes of giggling to myself. Thank you.

Exactly so.

That's great news, Derek! Congratulations! Nice to know these terrific songs will get a wider audience.

I so agree! Tualla, I've just read through all your commentary, now how can I not want to hear each and every song, with the framework you've given in mind? So thank you for the time you put into that.

I'm the opposite...I prefer a really long mix so that I can put it on, get lost in all the great music, and go about my business without having to stop and change the disc anytime soon. The more music, the better! Tualla, you mix looks terrific! Downloading now. PopTodd, thanks for yours as well!

That is too funny! I knew that voice sounded familiar. I will pass that tidbit along to Mikael when I get the chance. I love that bit from the show where the kids are spraypainting a wall with graffiti...remember that one? "Look around you!" hahahaha

Jeremy! I saw this thread late, but all the very best to you! If those weisenheimers know what's good for them, they'll snap you up! Brennan says hi!

Happy birthday!

I just now finally got around to watching "A River Runs Through It". Beautiful film, any fans here? Next up is Bullitt, because the kiddos have never seen that car chase upon which the rest of reality as we know it is built. (But perhaps I exaggerate slightly.)

Well there's of course myself!

Hi Joss, hope you are liking my mix. Funny story, actually, about my introduction to the marvel that is Synthesizer Patel....which I must finally confess to, as I am at heart an honest girl. At the time that we all got our first taste of the new album through the initial streaming, a few of us were puzzling over figuring out the lyrics, over in that lyrics thread, and we were all stumped by one line in "You Never Know". I happened to have tickets then to see Mikael's side band, Pronto, in Los Angeles. At the show, I got to talk to him after his set (they were terrific!) and conversation natur

I've deliberately not read this thread...may I just say, after just seeing that PST time....F-ing adorable, absolutely lovely.

There's really just never enough time to check out all the great bands, is there? But these mix exchanges really help to steer us all to our similar tastes, and wonderful songmakers we haven't happened to stumble across already. Thanks to every one of you mix-makers, because I've taken away a whole headful of bands and musicians I'll be looking into. As soon as I know that bweil has gotten my mix (by mail) and had the privilege of first listen, I'll put mine up as a download link for any who might be interested.

Makes me want to construct a pure Brinsley Schwarz mix but without JujuMan. I too am listening to a fabulous mix at this moment, from bweil. Enjoying the hell out of it on first listening! Details to follow.

This show was recorded. I'm not the taper, but a taper did tape. He just has a real (and busy) life, so the recording might not be up for a bit, but take heart, a recording was gotten!

Ok, well, sometimes I haven't had my coffee, you know? So, good point and I've changed my mind. But if people were to share via pm's, that'd be keen.

Yes but I expect you to be running through the sprinklers or sliding off the slip and slide into the mud! And none of this crap about "I stepped on a bee", whine whine whine. Also who ate all the damned steroid popsicles in the freezer??? -
