  1. Just saw this. While I'm excited, even the regular deluxe edition is going to be $125. I'll probably opt for the 2 disc version. also sucks they're reselling us the Zoo TV live from Sydney show. Full track list of the Uber Deluxe version.
  2. I e-mailed the web site. Here's the response I got:
  3. Interesting. Although it might not have unreleased material in it. it could just be the 2 albums, plus "Man in the sand", plus live tracks or the b-sides: My Thirty Thousand - “She Came Along To Me” Australian single, “Way Over Yonder In The Minor Key” single and “Mermaid Avenue Bonus EP” promo CD California Stars (1-14-2000 Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Los Angeles, CA) - “She Came Along To Me” Australian single and “Mermaid Avenue Bonus EP” promo CD At My Window Sad And Lonely (Tweedy solo version) - “She Came Along To Me” Australian single and “Mermaid Avenue Bonus EP” promo CD Bugeye Jim
  4. Nice! There's coming to my town. I wonder how much tickets are.............
  5. I'll play Bach Bennett Cline Coomer Jorgenson Kotche Sansone Sirratt Tweedy
  6. Yes, a concise and solid record would be great. You have to wade through some mediocre songs to hear the couple of gems in III/VI.
  7. True. Those after the fact deluxe or tour editions are worse.
  8. I hear you. It's a beautiful bike, but not functional for anywhere other than the boardwalk. Don't get me wrong, if I win it I'll ride it proudly sweating and cursing the whole way (southern Indiana is hilly too) but I'd never buy a fixed gear bike. Lots of them around here though.
  9. "Jolly Banker" was released on April 30, 2009. W(TA) was released on June 30, 2009. http://pitchfork.com...-guthrie-cover/ "I shall be released" was recorded live on 8-23-08. This was almost a year before the release of W(TA). It was released around September 2008 in anticipation of the presidential election. http://pitchfork.com...ylan-cover-mp3/ I need to put release dates on that discography. Same era as W(TA)? That's up to you!
  10. Did everyone get the latest e-mail from the Wilco Store? fixed speed bike? Wilco's gone full hipster. Although that bike is pretty damn sweet.
  11. Don't forget about my pinned thread. Wilco's non-album tracks
  12. Has anyone ever heard of this album? "Radio Woodstock: 30th Anniversary Album." It contains Wilco performing Handshake Drugs. This website says that the tracks are all live in studio: http://takethisbread.blogspot.com/2010/11/tracklist-for-radio-woodstocks-30th.html Anyone know if this is correct? It looks like it it put out by 100.1 FM WDST in Woodstock New York., so live in-studio would make sense. http://www.amazon.com/Radio-Woodstock-30th-Anniversary-Album/dp/B004EFJPTE
  13. Several bonus tracks announced for "The Whole Love" including LP only, itunes bonus and Deluxe CD only tracks. Will post shortly.
  14. I hate it when bands pull this shit. It forces their long time hardcore fans to either buy the album multiple times or resort to pirating of the bonus tracks. That was my plan. Let's hope they stock the Deluxe edition!
  15. I like it. Thanks for all the work you do for the board.
  16. Looks like all the links to the "bonus eps" are broken now with the new website. Anyone know if they are still available somewhere on wilcoworld.net?
  17. No, I was just surprised they used an album track when other artists including live and demo tracks. Thanks for looking at the liner notes!
  18. I'm going to remove "I might" form the list since the band has announced it to be a track from the upcoming album.
  19. I was thinking about this again. Are you sure it's the album version? Could it be a demo version? Are there any comments int he liner notes about it?
  20. Thanks for the info. I've heard the Ryan Adams track. How's "Who's Behind The Door" by Neil Gust, Elliott Smith, Jim Talstra, and John Moen of The Decemberists?
  21. "new" version of "Some Day Some Morning Sometime" to be released. http://forums.viachicago.org/topic/45770-new-wilco-on-charity-compilation/ Not sure yet if it is a recent or older, live or studio, full band or just Jeff.
  22. Track listing on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Live-Nowhere-Near-You-Two/dp/B005A6EWHQ/ref=dp_return_1?ie=UTF8&n=5174&s=music Track is "Someday Some Morning Sometime." Very cool. Makes me wonder if Jay was included as a songwriter, not a performer. According to Wilcobase, Jeff didn't played this song live until 2002, after Jay left the band. Disc: 1 1. Kevin Moyer: An Easy Slide (Rendezvous You Too) 2. Bright Eyes and Britt Daniel of Spoon: Southern State 3. The Helio Sequence: Heart Disease 4. Nathan Jr: The Best Noise 5. The Upsidedown: Silver Wind 6. Shawn Smith of Satchel
  23. You know, I can't specifically remember seeing Leroy. I tried to piece it together with info from the web, but couldn't. Did he do most of the dates on that tour?
  24. 1. I was working as a DJ at my small liberal arts college radio station during my freshman year in 1993/94. We played Uncle Tupelo's "Long Cut plus 5 live" promo ep on pretty heavy rotation. After hearing it and loving it I was crushed when I learned that band had broken up before I got a chance to see them. Bought A.M. (as well as Trace) as soon as it came out. 2. First show was Nov. 4, 1999 at the Buskirk-Chumley Community Theater in Bloomington, Indiana. Seating capacity
  25. I tried to log in today, but apparently none of my facebook friends are on. Is there a invite that people can send?
