tugmoose
Best probably the Mercury (now Parish) in Austin (9-02) or the Metropolis in Montreal (6-03). Worst by far is the Tower City Amphitheater in Cleveland (6-03). Basically a big tent over a parking lot. Not worth linking to.
pnêyu
Worst: Probably Constitution Hall in DC, but I try to avoid the soulless spots as much as possible. Best: There's a lot of them, but my regional bias wins out: Great American Music Hall in San Francisco.
Three dollars and 63 cents
The Pines Theater in Northampton is probably my very favorite concert venue. It's relatively small, and the backdrop is beautiful. I've seen Wilco there the last two years, so it will seem a little strange when I see them somewhere else for the first time. alison the wilca
best: hmm...i really liked the john anson ford theater and i think the orange peel is just perfect. worst: i hated the eagle's ballroom
fooism
Best: Radio City '04 Worst: Le Bataclan, Paris - Not that it is bad, but since I have to choose one...
hwllo
the auditorium theatre is pretty awesome. summerfest wasn't the ideal stage but it was free and wilco so it's all good
Oil Can Boyd
Worst: Agannis Arena Boston
Preferred B
Best: It's too hard to choose, but to name two - the Val Air Ballroom in Des Moines, before they switched everything around, was pretty great. The Barrymore in Madison is one of my favorite places. Worst: The Eagles freakin' Ballroom
dondoboy
Best: Michigan Theatre Ann Arbor, worst: Lollapalooza-but only 'cause I ran out of beer

SarahC
Best- The Ryman Auditourium Worst- N/A they've all been really good... though Chastain Park was different...
H.Stone
First Avenue--a combination of the intimacy of the place and mpls guests for their shows there. Eagle's Ballroom is the worst place I've seen a show--not Wilco, though. But I'll be seeing them there in Oct, so I suspect that will be my worst.

isadorah
Best: The Ryman Auditorium! worst: there hasn't been one yet, but if i had to choose, i'd say merriweather. it was great for me, but that's because i was down front and center, i'd never want to be on the lawn at that venue though. LouieB
The Rave (Eagles Ballroom) in Milwaukee...worst venue ever... LouieB
Edie
I loved the State Palace Theatre in NO. Just looked around on Google and someone posted earlier this year that it had been shut down for fire code violations. It sustained some flood damage, but needs a big overhaul. Also that funky ballroom in Wichita was pretty cool. Of course, the Vic is wonderful, though I have seen them there only once. And anyone's living room Least favorite: Auditorium
countryfeedback
Best probably the Mercury (now Parish) in Austin (9-02) or the Metropolis in Montreal (6-03). Worst by far is the Tower City Amphitheater in Cleveland (6-03). Basically a big tent over a parking lot. Not worth linking to. Even better than the Mercury show was the one they played at Antones in '99. My greatest concert experience of all time, hands down.
isadorah
Least favorite: Auditorium i'm kinda with edie on this one, but didn't want to be the first to say it.
countryfeedback
Forgot to put my worst venue. The House of Blues in Las Vegas in 2002. The band nearly left midway thru due to all the talking going on. For me this was the beginning of the end. All Wilco shows thereafter have never been the same (thanks to the audience, not the band.) Edie
i'm kinda with edie on this one, but didn't want to be the first to say it. I have seen them there four times, and tbh, I think the place just swallows them up compared to smaller venues. I think their worst performance (imo) was the Katrina benefit in Nov 05. I have high hopes for Pritzker Pav.
jenbobblehead
Worst: Irving Plaza. It was like seeing them in a gymnasiumbest: lupo's heartbreak hotel, Providence.
