Party @ the Moontower
Tasteful and respectful. Another great VC post. I dare say that anyone who throws out slogans like "No blood for oil", "Faux News" etc. as unquestionable truths to anchor message board banter is the true "asshole". Shut up and go watch the DNC! Or better yet...

Tweedling
I watch Fox News many times throughout the day. Along with other news programs. So suck it!
Gobias Industries
Biden was good. The "Freudian slip" was awesome, loved it.
Party @ the Moontower
Odd. You respond to my comment by "matching my tone", then try to shame me by posting my response to someone calling me an asshole... in which I matched his insult. Highlight of the convention tonight: Howard Dean telling an interviewer that he is sick of divisive politics. I'm a chick and I said you have an a-holeness to your words. mountain bed
I agree with with Edie and PATM - tonight was a great night. For the first time in a long time it felt like we're all "on the bus" now (sorry to use a Kesey reference, but it's apt). The healing has begun. I thought Joe's speech was serviceable, but I've heard him do much better over the years, to be honest. Still - it's almost unfair to have to follow Bill. That's like having to follow Hendrix onstage or something. Kerry should have sounded this good 4 years ago. He reminded us of what kind of Roveian-style hit job they're gonna be up against. But we just have to hope that shit won't work this time.

viatroy
outstanding. and all of THAT, is why I'm a democrat. About time. I hope they've got their ducks lined up when it comes to fighting back against vote theft. Haven't heard a word about it, and have no reason to believe things have improved. Here's hoping for a HUGE turnout. Also, thank god for C-SPAN.

The rest was all good by me, including Biden't speech and particularly Bill who hit a fucking homerun as far as I am concerned. I can't wait for the snide ass Republics next week. It's a great unifier but don't get too high and too low. The next 9 1/2 weeks ( ) are going to be a roller coaster.
