mpolak21
RUBBER SOUL:"The Word", "Run For Your Life" REVOLVER:"Yellow Submarine" Not that both of those albums aren't among my all-time favorites, but above-mentioned songs destroy each album's "perfection." What Goes On on Rubber Soul isn't perfect either. I think the rest of Revolver is so good it rounds Yellow Submarine up, but I get what you're saying. Band on the Run is consistently good, I don't love Mrs. Vanderbilt, and Picasso Last Words kind of drags on until the reprise part, but the rest of it's pretty tight, No Words might be the best Wings song people don't talk about. --Mike

Guest Speed Racer
I think the rest of Revolver is so good it rounds Yellow Submarine up I can't stand Good Day, Sunshine. Or Here, There and Everywhere for that matter. And I don't care for Eleanor Rigby, but I wouldn't count that as a flaw. I definitely think Good Day and Here There are what keep that album off my flawless list.

Revolver is definitely one of the few albums that can be called flawless.

uncool2pillow
I can't stand Good Day, Sunshine. That song is brilliant. The album is as flawless as an album gets. Here, There and Anywhere I can understand, but Good Day Sunshine? Shocked!
Guest Speed Racer
I love "God, I'm so happy I could pee!!!" songs, and I especially like, "I'm so happy I could pee, because I'm in LOVE!!!" songs. But I hate when Paul McCartney writes either brand of song. There are one are two exceptions, but not enough that I'm not okay making that sweeping statement. I know, I'm a terrible person. Sweet Papa Crimbo
You couldn't live without The Angel? One good think I have gotten out of getting older is a fresh perspective on things, i.e. songs I used to find tiring. While The Angel isn't necessarily one, Mary Queen of Arkansas certainly has grown on me over 37 years. I Also, I would add that I used to avoid Wild Billy's Circus Story from The Wild, the Innocent, and the E Street Shuffle; but with Danny's passing and Bruce's response song The Last Carnival, it makes perfect sense.
