First night of the tour was fantastic. I was able to watch the last half of the show on a Facebook stream. 28 songs, 2 hours 45 minutes. The band is sounding awesome. Link for a nice review with setli

those Jimmy Fallon performances are pretty great....they did E Street Shuffle with the Roots and it was awesome.

Yeah, I have to say, not being a big Springsteen fan, those Fallon performances made me want to check this new one out. Pretty powerful stuff. One song he did sounded like the Pogues. Liked seeing Tom Morello up there with them.

This one is an astouding release for an arsist that is 39 years into his career. It is polarizing the t-shirt fans and really cements Bruce's position as an American Troubador.

This is a really pissed off record with some really challenging musical moments. I, for one really appreciate his desire to challenge people's perceptions about his music, his muse.

Not enough attention being paid to this rousing, angry record here.

which song is that? I only have the cheap version without the extra's, but I wouldn't call any of the 11 on the non-deluxe record a rap song.

Because there is no 'rap' song. There is one verse sing/rapped by a background singer.

I am not a Springsteen fan but appreciate the sentiments of this record. It's reminds me of the situation of Neil Young's "Living With War" about Iraq/Afghanistan a few years ago. Great that these records have been made but where are the younger bands/artists who give a shit or have something to say?

saw the opening night in atlanta last night. of course, great show. i really enjoyed hearing the new tunes live. the band has a nice full sound with the horns, back up singers and percussionist. i really wasn't expecting this, but, Clarence was very much missed both in presence and playing. i'm sure they'll be busting out a bunch of songs as the tour moves along. i assume he'll do two legs. the show i saw on the first magic tour was something else in the variety of songs. the show got me thinking about the DD acoustic tour. i wish they'd put out a dvd of that. he doesn't do enough of the solo acoustic stuff as far as i'm concerned.

oh, the dude is in phenomenal shape. still so much energy at 63!
