Atticus
so very impressed with this show. wife and I have been watching it again from the beginning the last couple of weeks. so different watching these episodes now. so many brilliant writing moves.
Moss
That piece of acting Cranston did, being horrible to his wife while being absolutely heartbroken by what he was saying was just stunning. One of those roles he just owns and you can't imagine anyone else playing the part now.

One of those roles he just owns and you can't imagine anyone else playing the part now. And unfortunately I can't imagine Cranston playing any other role. Had a large discussion with my brother on why Bryan Cranston would not be good as Lex Luthor. My chief reason was that is is absolutely brilliant as Walt, it would make Lex Luthor look like a parody. I have a small hope that after Breaking Bad is done, Bryan Cranston does no interviews and just walks off into the sunset and is never heard form again. He is so perfect I feel that anything else he does will pale in comparison and ultimately tarnish the shear beauty that is Walter White. But I am selfish that way. lamradio
And unfortunately I can't imagine Cranston playing any other role. I disagree. If he can go from Hal to Heisenberg, the man can do anything and make it awesome. And besides, no one can play Lex Luther without it looking like a parody except for Gene Hackman. He'll probably go behind the camera for a while and resurface as an actor after the Braking Bad afterglow was worn down a bit. He's definitely not going to disappear never to be heard from again. Hixter
Walt's reflection has a bullet hole in his cranium. Fore(head)shadowing?
winterland121072
Great catch on that picture...the whole show has really done a beautiful job of showing the dual personalities of walter white...the breaking bad man vs. the broken man... check out this image while he was lying in the sand - both visages of walter are present...stunning...you can see both sets of eyes - equally in horror... Mr. Heartbreak
Jesse may survive this after all...or Aaron Paul is just being very cagey here: http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/news/aaron-pauls-last-word-on-breaking-bad-20130916#ixzz2fAmyw3T9 Will you miss Jesse? I miss him terribly, I really do. For the past six years I've been breathing through his skin. It was the roughest day of my career, my final day of shooting on Breaking Bad, knowing that I will never be able to kind of zip on that skin again. I love him, and I just want him to be OK, you know? But I don't know if he's ever going to be OK. Maybe he doesn't deserve to be OK.
ih8music
Walt's reflection has a bullet hole in his cranium. Fore(head)shadowing? That is a beautiful shot. Notice that there are actually 3 heads there -- Walt, Heisenberg & Mr. Lambert (his new identity)?
winterland121072
well done analysis on the "dual" images of walter white shown throughout the show... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRRUMoZnN1o

Magnetized
Don't forget to set your DVRs for an extended time. 75 minutes for the last two episodes.

Magnetized
Tonight's episode was so different from last week's heart-in-the-throat, hand-clasped-over-mouth, nonstop terror. This was heartbreaking on so many levels. Anybody got theories on where Walt went? Clearly he was telling the cops where he was by leaving the phone off the hook. parisisstale
Walt was ready to turn himself him after the chat with Walt Jun umm Flynn didn't go as he would have hoped but seeing Gretchen/Elliott talking about his blue meth still being out there set him back on his course of vengeance for the Nazis. Yet another brilliant, heartbreaking episode.
Atticus
seemed like the perfect penultimate episode. absolutely hooked.
Mr. Heartbreak
I absolutely loved it. And so much of it made perfect sense, but I hadn't predicted it. Saul and Walt both going with the "vacuum guy" was perfect. And who would have thought Walt would be so lonely and forlorn that he would pay 10K just to hang out with him? What a show. It definitely deserved that Emmy.
cre618
What a show. It definitely deserved that Emmy. Yes it did. And, if it doesn't win again for this season, that's the real travesty.
Moss
That scene with Todd paying a visit to Jesse's girlfriend with Jesse in the car was about as dark a moment as I have ever seen in television. Can't see how they are going to wrap it all up in one episode. Will it be like the Sopranos fade to black type thing?
M. (hristine
Walt's character came full circle in one episode. Commencement.Seriously brilliant writing.
