The Inside of Outside
Today I drove all the way across southern Indiana, taking the scenic route instead of I-64, while listening to the Mermaid Avenue records in their entirety. Rural southern Indiana is a fascinating part of the country. The drive was great, the weather was beautiful, and the Americana soundtrack was just perfect.Rural southern Indiana is a fascinating part of the country. Sounds like a great pairing with the music, and a great day.

anthony
Today I listened to The Grateful Dead noodle their way thru Scarlet Begonias on Sirius/XM. Not bad. Not great, either. A bit monotonous. I won't be setting up my Shures in front of Phil anytime soon. But I still enjoyed the ride.

Our band is thinking of doing that one into Fire on the mountain since we already do Fire. Always a challenge to learn a GD song because everyone in the band picks a different version to learn for some reason.
