bböp
Paul, nice to re-meet you a couple nights ago. I was next to LouieB.Ah, good to see you as well. I have to just post one thing real quick...Maybe the best single thing from tonight's show was during the hootenanny when Mike took a pillow to his melodica during the breakdown part of A Shot in the Arm. Well played, Mr. Jorgensen, well played.
mdjr
Best Jeff banter of the night: After Panthers..."So that was a repeat....but was it the same? You don't know....Glenn played with a casual detachment. Nels used a thinner pick, Pat was thinking about Xmas. Mike is a robot he's always thinking the same thing. (Mimes robot). He's the only one we can program to do things the same. You ever been to Chuckee Cheese? That's where we got him. He could only play the banjo back then"

bböp
Good man.Other notable banter... Before the rarely played Everlasting Everything, Jeff admitted that "this song doesn't get a lot of requests. One of my favorite songs I ever wrote, and nobody likes it. Well, you know what? Bill Fay likes it, so fuck you." Of course Jeff broke down and apologized after the song. I couldn't help but imagine half the crowd being like, "Who's Bill Fay?" Albert Tatlock
Other notable banter... I knew I could rely on you Also admiring your stamina. One more to go. Any news on the threatened Wilco Winterlude pandemic - has the ban on snogging in the waiting line this year helped?

Any news on the threatened Wilco Winterlude pandemic - has the ban on snogging in the waiting line this year helped?I'm afraid I'm going to disappoint you on multiple fronts here, so best let others chime in on the pandemic, etc. I think it hasn't been as bad as last time, though some cracks are starting to show. Ban on snogging probably always helps, though...
remphish1
I'm Loving all this A.M., Being There and Summerteeth love during the run even though I am not able to attend any of the shows! PS Woo hoo! My 4,000th post!
Jimmy Coulas
Another solid show, but Tuesday has been far and away the best show of the run.

Sun Caught Fire
Another solid show, but Tuesday has been far and away the best show of the run. I beg to differ but i think we could agree it is a subjective assessment!
Cold as Gasoline
That string of songs from Poor Places through Hotel Arizona last night was transcendent. Gorgeous versions of each one. You can put me down for Tuesday as my favorite night so far. I was up in the balcony last night, where there was some obnoxiousness that will drive me back to the floor tonight. Dude screaming "everybody SIT DOWN" as people stood up for the second encore sparked my concern that he'd be able to make it down 3 flights of steps from the balcony if he was so put out about standing for 10 minutes after sitting for 3 hours. Also some yelling (same guy?) when people sang along to "A Shot In the Arm". Ugh.

Preferred B
I'm having so much fun at these shows! I'll be sad when they're over. I, too, was a fan of the melodica pillow during Shot in the Arm. I'd never seen Everlasting Everything live before last night, so that was a treat. And although Glenn didn't use it last night during the acoustic encore, I really want to figure out what the plastic-wrapped thing is that he's been shaking. Cat toy? tstrapac
Does Jeff normally play a 12 string for Reservations?

curvemyflight
Quick note from last night's great show: They took the stage and before starting Sunken Treasure Jeff had a brief chat with Glenn. I was about 8 people back and couldn't make it all out, Glenn was waving his hand in a way that suggested 'no big deal' and reading lips it looked like he was saying, "I'll be fine," and "no problem," etc. After a few songs Jeff told the crowd, "I'd like you to know the Glenn played the first three songs without monitors." So, go Glenn!
deceasedlavy
Dream show for me last night. Being able to only hit one night of the run it was like winning the lottery. When I saw they played Sunken Treasure on Monday I was crushed. Had never seen it live before, my holy grail so to speak. I was wondering how deep they'd be digging to avoid repeats. Instead it was like they decided to put together a perfect standalone show. I'm absolutely drowning in gratitude still. Had a perfect balcony spot but I couldn't sit still. Got up to dance during Camera and people were throwing ice at me. Had to escape downstairs until the encore. I'll never understand why people wanna sit down through a rock and roll show, especially a rager like last night. But it didn't detract from the experience at all. Wish I could come back tonight but they couldn't possibly draw up a better setlist for my tastes. Between Milwaukee and last night this is the peak thus far of my Wilco-seeing career. So many of my favorite old bands are fading hard. These guys are ripping it up like never before. Just wow.
