jw harding
Wilco should go on the embittered city tour sometime. Philly, San Diego, Florida...Easy to understand an aversion to Philly or Florida. San Diego makes no sense.
Mr. Heartbreak
Easy to understand an aversion to Philly or Florida. San Diego makes no sense. I don't get the aversion to FL at all, but then I've lived here for 25 years and love it. To put the Wilco touring in perspective, they last played here before Solid Sound in May 2015, although JT did his first-ever solo Florida shows recently. That means no FL Wilco dates for Star Wars, Schmilco, or Ode to Joy (so far). I've seen great Wilco shows in the past in Tampa, Clearwater, St. Pete, Orlando, & Jacksonville. I'm really baffled by their skipping the entire state for nearly five years. It's the third most populous state, as well as one of the largest. Come on, guys! Get back here! Muzzle of Dan
Damn - I'll be out of town for all the LA dates. Hate to miss out but on this tour.

chuckrh
really glad i went for night 2. turns out drive-by truckers are playing seattle night 1. 2 of my favorite bands in the world back to back!
bböp
Wtf is up with the Seattle restriction on only people from surrounding states being allowed to buy presale tix?!? Why is Seattle so weird with stuff about concerts (we all had to sit down on the floor before a show there once...never seen it before or since)?!?

Brock Landers
I'm really out of the loop when it comes to Wilco on tour. Will these dates sell out right away? I'm in Vegas, they're playing a small venue here. Do I have to be online right away with a pre-sale code if I only want a couple GA Seats? I'm thinking yes.

I'm thinking yes.you should just to be sure. that would be fun to see them in vegas. i used to go to vegas a lot but the greed of the casinos has finally got to me. all the extra add on fees are out of control. you have so many good music rooms down there. TCP
Flights to Portland aren't that bad, so I bit the bullet and got tickets for both nights.

chuckrh
Oh great suggestion! We're looking at arriving on the day of their second show, could time out perfectly. DBT are a great live band (studio too). You won't be disappointed. They should be rested as Patterson Hood lives in Portland now. On a practical note: the tickets in Seattle were less than half the cost of Wilco. I'm seeing DBT on 3/18 & Wilco 3/19. that's pushing it for me but the deed needs to be done! chuckrh
pipe dream time: it would be beyond cool if on night 1 in seattle some/any wilco members showed up to play with drive-by truckers. the paramount (wilco) is about a half mile from the showbox (dbt). since the showbox is a club, dbt will be on much later than wilco. that & dbt really like this club & usually play at least 2.5 hours there. no curfew other than 2:00 AM booze cut off. one can dream! summerdai
i noticed that on the band presale there were no ticketbastard service charges. nice! I think they just include them in the original price you see. They are always there.
chuckrh
I think they just include them in the original price you see. They are always there.in my experience, they are usually listed as a seperate line item on the final tally. along with shipping fees, etc. typically on a $75 ticket it would be another 15-25 % tacked on at the end.
