I appreciate the accolades, but seriously, all the real credit goes to @u2roolz. The two or three times I filled in for him really showed me how truly dedicated he’s been to this project. It’s fairly

I’d like to thank AdamCU81 for reaching out to me in a PM to let me know that Monty (VC screen name: ZiggyBratwurst) in a Wilco Reddit thread was trying to reach me. He was working on an Excel spreadsheet utilizing my recaps & Paul’s cover comments in real time and wanted to share it with all of us. So here’s an Excel spreadsheet that features the songs that have been performed on The Tweedy Show. It looks amazing! I’m having a bit of trouble uploading a sample pic, but I’ll fix that in a bit.

Thanks to AdamCU81 & Paul (bbop)!
A Very Special Thanks to Monty (ZiggyBratwurst) for putting this amazing spreadsheet together!

By going through the spreadsheet and u2roolz's notes, I've attempted to compile a list of new songs Jeff has performed:

“Save It For Me” (Episode 1 [recording], 13, 15)

“I’d Rather Be Alone” (Episode 2)

A Robin Or A Wren (Episode 3, Episode 39)

Grandma’s A Cyborg Now [Poem] (Episode 4)

“Baby You’re So Miserable” (Episode 5)

Guess Again (Episode 6, Episode 37)

“Natural Disaster” (Episode 10)

“Tell Your Friends” (Episode 29)

Half Life [Ode To Joy outtake]  (Episode 30)

I left in Half Life, while it's not a new song for Jeff, it is new to us. If I missed anything or if any of the song titles in quotation marks have been confirmed as actual titles, let me know.

Thank you for the kind words! I hope that ZiggyBratwurst pops in to see the praise.

That’s correct!

I’m positive that Jeff gave the name for Save It For Me because it was on the very first episode as a recording, so when he played it live he mentioned that and also gave us the title.

“I’d Rather Be Alone” was a title that I picked out after I listened to the song several times a couple of days ago. Jeff never gave the song title. In fact, I made a “private” YouTube video for myself for the tune. When I went to search for it to see if I did make it private, I was shocked to see a video already there with the same fan given song title. AND Monty also came up with the same exact song title too!

“Baby, You’re So Miserable” was a title that I picked out based off of which phrase I heard the most. The only thing that Jeff mentioned about the song was that it wasn’t about Susie because she’s not miserable.

“Natural Disaster” was a title that Jeff gave. He even mentioned that it had 3 more verses to it, but he didn’t play them.

“Tell Your Friends” was a title that I got from Nick Offerman’s comment which was his request that Jeff wound up playing before he ever heard of said request. That really surprised Susie that Jeff knew what Nick wanted to hear.

Jeff gave a “newer and more appropriate” title to Half Life which was Let’s Find What We’re All Missing. I guess I never went back to update my notes in here for that one and “I’d Rather Be Alone”.

Oh, and thank you for the kind comments over the past few weeks! Sometimes I just like to post my recap and listen to a Wilco show from Nugs.

Hi everyone. I had some mysterious issues getting registered, but thanks to u2roolz and kidsmoke, I’m all set now.

I’m so happy about the kind reception to the spreadsheet. It came about because, when watching the show, I noticed lots of comments requesting songs that they’d just played a night or two before. So I started scrubbing through the episodes on YouTube and referencing u2roolz’s recaps, and here we are.

Of course I know there’s no way all the “clients” are going to find this spreadsheet, but I figure some of them will.

Anyway, enjoy! And thanks again to u2roolz for his recaps, for helping me get the word out, and for telling the admins about my registration problems.

Perhaps the ones who aren't obsessing over Sammy's hair!  :) Thanks for the spreadsheet, Ziggy.  Very handy.  And u2roolz, your recaps are the first thing I look at every morning.

I need to go back and watch that song at the end of last night’s episode. Google came up with nothing for the lyrics. Anyone recognize it? It’s definitely not the R.E.M. song Bad Day.

Ahh didn’t mention my favorite part in the recap I mentioned the bellybutton smoking scene in iattbyh and Susie was grossed out about the smoking and Jeff said he used gum to keep the cigarette in place

Haha! Yep, I remember that scene well! I can go and add it in. That first half of the episode was a curveball with those 2 songs.

Thank you! You’re welcome!

I can’t believe that Paul (bbop) remembered that that song was performed in Spokane, Washington! Lol. Great memory! I looked it up during the show and sure enough he was 100% right.

I think the song they were discussing Sammy singing at the end was Razor Love from Neil Young's Silver & Gold, or did I just misunderstand the conversation? (totally possible)

Yep! That’s right. I was watching bits of the episode to tidy up my notes. Thank you though. For a split second I thought I heard him say Razor Face which is an Elton John song off of Madman Across The Water.

You can add 2 more new songs to your list, TCP!

Edit:

Speaking of rewatching episodes on Instagram, is anyone able to “scrub” through episodes?

I think I can only push the screen to advance 3 minutes. I tried moving my fingers across the right side of the screen and nothing happens. Maybe I’m not using the latest version.

I think that is just how instagram stories (which are only up for a day) work. As opposed to Instagram videos (which are permanent) which do allow scrubbing? At least, that is my experience too.

So, is "like a broom bent to twist" (whatever that may mean) the official-as-it-gets lyric for Love Like a Wire? It is on the internet on some guitar tabs site, but I think maybe folks (myself included) interpreted it differently. Jeff's enunciation was pretty clear this time.

Did I hear them saying no show tonight? I thought they were moving to a M-F schedule and taking weekends off, if agreeable to the Clients? I'm not on FB so I don't know what the poll is over there.
