New ticketing agency for Wilco :)

http://wilcoworld.net/news/

New pre-sale ticketing partner, CrowdSurge

In our continuing efforts to find the most effective and simple way for you to obtain tickets via our pre-sales, we’re making a change. From today forward all pre-sales will be facilitated be by our new partners — a company called CrowdSurge (a part of Songkick). Which means pre-sales will no longer be run by Front Gate Tickets. Trust us when we say that for reasons far too boring to go into here, this makes sense for us moving forward.

If you already have a Wilco account on Front Gate Tickets, you will receive an e-mail on steps to create your new CrowdSurge account.

We are excited about the new opportunities this partnership will create and hope you will bear with us while we all aim to make this transition as smooth as possible for everyone.

Love, Wilco HQ

*Please note that the transfer of your information from Front Gate Tickets to CrowdSurge was monitored; none of your information was or will ever be compromised.

Has anyone received pre-sale instructions for tomorrow yet? How do I ensure I get the e-mails?

I got the Roadcase just now when I signed it. It's the 5/1 show from this year in St. Augustine. Coincidentally, I also got front pit seats to that show for free from the band. It was an amazing show, so, good choice for a Roadcase.

I just received my 2nd email today from Wilco regarding tix. This one features hyperlinks to individual shows on sale tomorrow. It's tedious though as you need to sign in every time that you click on a link from this email, since you can't access this info on the actual Wilcoworld tour page.

It looks like all shows will be Will Call Only and the Ithaca show had a seating chart. It should be noted that I only checked the Montreal & Ithaca shows and didn't want to waste my time by looking into every link the way that I described it above.

There is no mention of any code either, so maybe we're all set by just signing in? Good luck tomorrow!

I've had a great 3 weeks of seeing my favorite bands live, so I'll quickly put up the individual links. I hope that this can help anyone who winds up getting a late email.

Thanks, too from me,  for the links. Never got the email either, so I was worried. Went off without a hitch, though!

Got a couple Balcony seats in Cleveland.  The better seats were gone.  And now, not even any balcony seats remain from the pre-sale.  Should I have waited until Friday to try again?  Maybe, but at least I have some seats in a venerable old auditorium.  Now I gotta plan a trip from my home in Raleigh to visit the inlaws in Cleveburg.   :guitar

That presale process completely sucked!  sooo pissed off!

Had the tickets in the cart, paid for them, hit submit and got a 404 error.  Hit the cart link again, and even though it showed my tickets with a 7 minute timer, it said no tickets available.
