Sounds good.

I am glad I saw them play twice (after Berry left, though). Having Wilco on the bill both times made it better, but I thought REM put on a great live show.

I actually listened to Reveal and Around the Sun again yesterday and thought they weren't "that bad". I haven't listened to either of them in a while.

That's why I think it's pretty shitting that they the took it off the Archive - if people what to stream it or rip an MP3 off the Archive, so be it. I am not pissed that they are selling the individual shows - I figured they would. Might as well, like you said, they put all this effort to do every show.

Instead of "Crumbling ladder tears" I heard "Crocodile tears"

I am only up to show 6, the April 16th (Show 5) is a fun show and perhaps my favorite so far. They all sound very good, though at times, Kreutzmann seems a bit low in the mix. Pigpen is great, throughout. I must admit sometimes his organ playing bugs me a bit, not so on this tour. It does suck that the entire Europe 72 run is off of the Archive.

"Phone my family, tell them I'm lost on the sidewalk and, no, it's not OK" (Tweedy's delivery of the lyric is great)

The Whole Love: Speculation and (eventual) reactions

I haven't bought a record since the early 90s - does this happen often, a different track order on the record/cd? -
Yep, ugh. I don't think either team played well. The mistakes from Notre Dame were dreadful. Michigan's throw backs looked pretty cool.

Thank you very much.

Someone in the Just a Fan forum wrote that he/she went, also wrote that it didn't sell out, which I found surprising.

Yeah you're right, I read the set list Saturday morning before I had my morning coffee, so a chuckle was all I could muster up at the time. Curious to know when people at the show realized that the "S" theme - would have been fun to guess trying to guess the next tune.
-
Did you go on Friday, Lammycat? That night's set list gave me a chuckle.

Great read - would love more of these types of interviews.

Texas definitely has had a brutal summer - my wife has family in the Dallas area, haven't heard from them, I am assuming no news is good news...stay safe.

Standing O is a favorite of mine - perfect beginning and end of song.

Hell of a game between Baylor and TCU last night - nice way to start the college football season. Of course Notre Dame is already stinking up the joint in the first half - interesting weather related delay, but I am sure the State of Indiana is still reeling from the State Fair and rightly so. Today's weather moving through the stadium did look pretty bad.

http://consequenceof...s-wasted-years/ (consequence of sound.net) Adams covering Iron Maiden's Wasted Years. Not a big fan of this cover. Interesting choice, though.

For those who have XM, the Pearl Jam station will be broadcasting from Alpine - not sure how much of the concerts will be broadcasted live, though.

I have a one-pin acoustic, does it come with a "gulley hook" to go around the headstock above the nut?
-
Would the strap work on an acoustic?
-
It was a typo. I saw it
-
Nah - I did say that too, but I didn't think it was funny.

Thanks for the link.

Hey, hey a show where I was at. My first show where I saw them inside. I had seats that where more less towards the side of the stage and a bit up, a great vantage point to watch Hart and Kreutzman. This run is when Healy was canned - there was a chant of "Turn it up" either at this show or the next one.
