  1. The above is the comments on the YouTube video of Leave Me Like You Found Me - I just thought it was funny. The song is not one of my favorites.
  2. There are rattle snakes in Southern Illinois. The above looks pretty cool and mad. There are timbers in Southern Illinois. They are on the endangered list.
  3. The Europe set has white "smooth" card board sleeves rather than the brown "rough" sleeves of the Road Trip series.
  4. 1 hard cover book and 1 soft cover book came in the set - each show is in its own cardboard gate-fold case with liner notes on each case, they are written on the case itself, no booklet. At first glance I am happy with it - haven't listened to any of it yet. I think I am going to be a dork and listened to each show in order.
  5. Did a quick count and came up with 73 - I could have counted wrong.
  6. The 6 songs uploaded are pretty great. It's a bit interesting that this thread was bumped a few days before the release of these songs.
  7. Wilco opening for REM - 1999 and 2003. Opened with a great Kicking Television in 2003. ani difranco opening for Dylan - 1997. She played a great version of Dylan's Most of the Time.
  8. I guess a bunch of Nicky Hopkins' personal tapes has been released (from iorr)
  9. I am saw them at a ball park in South Bend, IN last year and I did not notice that...that sucks. That would have been cool to see.
  10. Today I will go with: 1. Summerteeth 2. Being There 3. A Ghost is Born 4. Yankee Hotel Foxtrot 5. Sky Blue Sky 6. A.M. 7. Wilco (The Album)
  11. I never did either. My brother in law has it and I listened to some of the extras - they were okay, though I think a few, if not all, of the Stones extras tracks were on the Gimme Shelter Criterion release. Another thing regarding the Exile release, as people stated in this thread, the DVD that came with the Super Deluxe was piece of crap for the most part - I streamed it on Netflix one afternoon - I am glad I did not spring for the Exile Super Deluxe edition.
  12. I listened to it again this morning and the bonus disc does leave a lot to be desired and the vocals are the biggest culprit. I don't think it was a complete waste, though - I still like the music and the two "authentic" songs on the disc are good. I guess there is talk off a Some Girls deluxe edition, hopefully they will do better with that one, but I am not counting on it.
  13. I guess I need to listened to the bonus disc, again. I don't remember hating it per-say, then again I have been known to be a Stones apologist.
  14. I am not particularly into skating at all, but this was a great documentary. Great soundtrack.
  15. Wilco Rolling Stone Weekender Ferienpark Fest Weißenhäuser Strand on the Ostseeküste Wangels, Germany November 7, 2009
  16. This seems like it from last year or so. I never seen it before. I always forget what the policy is for Wilco videos - take off it mods., if need be.
  17. I think I only listened to the 2nd disc twice or so.
  18. My kid will be 2 next month and he has already been to one Wilco show and a Tweedy solo show - Gotta start em off young (plus it's sometimes tough to find a baby sitter .)
  19. Holding out to listen until I get the cd (I don't why). Definitely will try to catch the Vic show - the only time I saw Malkmus and the Jicks was at the Vic a few years ago - great show.

    Wilco Primer

You can pretty much guarantee they will play "I'm the Man Who Loves You". You can check over on Wilcobase for all the recent setlists. http://wilcobase.com/
  22. Got that Who email today, too. Probably won't get the deluxe, already spent too much money on other stuff this year. It looks great though, it's a great album. I am about 100 pages into Moon: The Life and Death of a Rock Legend.
