Yeah, speaks a lot of vinyl's resurgence I think (and maybe peoples interest in Autumn Defense is higher with Pat being a longtime member of Wilco now). I got really lucky and found Reckless Records' last copy of The Green Hour this spring. Good to hear that must have done well enough to do Circles. EDIT: Yeah, must have, The Green Hour was 500 copies, Circles will be 1000.

Rumour has it Circles is coming out on Black Friday RSD.

Yeah I got a MacBook Air last year and didn't think of it when I bought it that I won't have a way to copy CDs anymore, but it really hasn't been an issue. That's an extremely good idea!

Yeah but think how great it is that one time you have a friend over, you put on an album and it's Being There on brown vinyl. Instant cool factor! At least, that's what I tell myself!

Thank you, that's very kind! Unfortunately I'm willing to bet once you factor in the $11 to US shipping, while we'd save a few bucks it probably wouldn't be worth the hassle of it. But if something changes I will let you know. What I need to do is live closer to the border and rent a mailbox in the US. Or just move to the States!! .........Maybe not till 45 is impeached though...

I know I complain about Kung Fu shipping every time but $46 shipping to Canada (that's $57CAD)!!! Insane. That said, these coloured versions look great and I'm a sucker for coloured vinyl so.......

For the record, that's translated from Dutch so I'm assuming it means 15 previous unreleased demos. Because marketing something as previously released isn't great sale incentive.

Yeah, since the standard version is a double album, I imagine this is the 4LP version Marijn posted about and Amazon hasn't fixed the page because it's just a placeholder. Amazon.ca had Bob Dylan's new boxset listed as Rouble No More for a few days but they fixed it when they officially listed it with a price, picture, details, and making it available.

There has to be some studio outtakes we've never heard. In Learning How To Die didn't John mention being disappointed when AM was released that only one of his songs was on it? I'm just trying to be hopeful! Here's an Amazon listing for the AM CD (currently titled "1"). Being There vinyl (currently listed for 1LP). Being There 5CD. All listed for December 1 2017.

Wow! What a great story, thank you for sharing Mountainbike. And kudos to Sue and the band for looking after you and your son. It feels good just reading about it!

Do I own the CD, black LP, and VMP LP? Yes. Would I gladly buy it a 4th time?? Yes*. *But only on vinyl.

John taking lead vocals on In the Street again? Wish I was there!

Well, it's a better reptile band name than King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.

Looks like George RR Martin took the night off from (slowly) writing The Winds of Winter to attend a Wilco concert. -

Summerteeth is the worst selling album? What the hell were people in 1999 doing?? Great recap WYWU! -
Did anyone get an LP of Hallelujah Anyhow yet? I couldn't find one in store and Amazon isn't shipping till October. Must have got delayed

That's been my situation for the past few years too (more so because I just simply haven't had time to seek out new music), but in 2017 I've made a conscious effort to listen to more 2017 music. It's been great hearing music of the moment, understanding the general feeling and mentality of people these days and hearing that either directly or indirectly reflected in the music.

I've just gotten into KV in the past two months in anticipation of his album with the great Courtney Barnett. I think all his albums are fantastic but his most recent three, Smoke Ring For My Halo, Wakin' on a Pretty Daze, and B'lieve I'm Goin Down, are probably his most accessible works. Childish Prodigy is great too but I probably appreciate it more after being familiar with his other work. I'm seeing him in twice October, I'm very excited!

New Mavis Staples Album Written & Produced by Jeff Tweedy

There's also her appearance on Benjamin Booker's Witness, a surprisingly catchy song about police brutality.
