  1. Even though Indy did not have the dominant season we're accustomed to 9 straight wins to close out the year looks pretty damn good. And - wtf happened to the Cowboys today? That is one hard-to-figure-out team.
  2. All the best vibes to ya WW from Poca and me. No matter what happens I think you'll land on your feet. Hang in there, girl.
  3. If that happens I'll eat my hat. I agree with what Matt said - this music isn't something you can just pick up your instrument and half-ass your way through. I hope they get a lot of time to work out the arrangements. Nothing worse than a sloppy Phish - few things better than a well-oiled Phish.
  4. I hope everything went well for you man! I'd be interested in your set list - post it up if you want. If I didn't live 3 hours away I totally would have been there.
  5. I knew you would be there with the info, man. Thanks for the vid - I gots me a new song to learn!
  6. L to R: Sir Laminus, Sir Poon Yes, the picture has been brought out of mothballs. Birthday Wishes! NP: 12/27/79
  7. This sounds like something I would dig.
  8. Damn, that's a nice dive into the pile. GREAT record.
  9. This is a quality 1st post. Welcome to the board morroben!
  10. Is this for real? Aman? Bunk, if you're not pulling my leg here that would be innaresting!
  11. I'm not sure, but we need to send out teh bat-signal for Lammycat - I know he'd know.
  12. I was about Bunk's nephew's age when The Clash first hit. I didn't listen to them at the time - I too was deeply into Zep/Floyd/Hendrix etc. But as I hit my twenties I started getting into Joe's music, and now (of course) I think Strummer and Co. made some of the most important music of the last 30 years. Thanks, Joe.
  13. "saving people from being gay" Man, I'd like to kick that bastard right in his atrophied testicles.
  14. Just like clockwork, every Monday around suppertime, comes Aman with This Week With The Grateful Dead. I can't tell you how much I always look forward to this. As far as pure sound quality goes the 12/26/79 might be the best DP (imo). Just bee-yoo-tee-ful.
  15. You were at the guac jam? Damn, dude...there's no help for you now - you're permanently sick.
  16. Todd Snider's Take - America's Favorite Pastime America's Favorite Pastime - The Ballad of Dock Ellis Unreleased dock ellis didnt think he would pitch that day back in 1970 when he and his wife took a trip to the ballpark a little bit differently so by the time he hit the bullpen half the world had melted away thats about the time coach murtaugh said hey dock your pitching today taking the ground the mound turned into the icing on a birthday cake the lead off man came up and turned into a dancing rattle snake the crowd tracked back and forth in waves of color under the sun the ball turne
  17. I have heard all of those Stars, minus the 10/26/89 Miami one (not incl. RD). I think I like the 9/19/70 the best of all of the '70 versions. Even better than the famous 2/13 one.
  18. I pulled out all of my Anthony Braxton records this last week.
