I have no doubt that many players used. But not all and not most. And for this there needs to be a distinction made (if evidence is presented) between those who chose to cheat and those who chose to play fairly. This is a good point, too. The Commissioner, his people, the owners, managers, etc. are (mostly) all culpable. It still does not excuse a player opting to use PEDs, though.

I understand the report is limited, even in it's extensiveness. Not every player on every team, or even half the players on every team, that were thoroughly investigated were revealed/suspected of using, though. I don't mind people not caring whether a player used or not, but by stating that most were using so it has to be swept under the rug doesn't gibe with me. It's more likely than not that most players did not cheat. Regardless, the ones caught need to sack up and deal with any punishments.

The "Not For the Season" (first one), is probably my favorite version of the tune. "Won't Ever Let You Down" needs more attention in a live setting, imo. I've always liked the alternate "Kamera" versions on here , too.

That's kind of my point. Stating that everyone/most players were using is mere speculation. I don't think even Canseco claims this.

Good day, man.

The tickets are starting at $245? That's ludicrous.

I don't believe a majority of major leaguers have used steroids. And I do care who used them, particularly players who have achieved milestones under accusations of using illegal and banned drugs. I think it does matter and disagree that all the players proven as cheaters should be granted clemency just because they got away with it for awhile and a lot of players were presumably doing it. The Mitchell Report and the fall out from it does not suggest that every player was using banned substances/cheating. There's no need to check every player from the last ten years. There is reason to check

I'm glad Karan's well, but no Kimock- From GDTSTOO: "First of all we are so pleased to be able to tell you that Mark Karan, RatDog's guitar player got the 'all clear' from his doctors and will be able to join the band for the spring tour. Go to rat-dog.com and click on 'news' for more of that story."

You and me both.

I agree this happens sometimes around here, but I missed it in the responses so far in this thread. Which posts make this claim?

What's more "American" than questioning our government? Democracy is based on checks/balances for the very reason that we should question government and that no one sector of it dominates. When did questioning/objecting to the powers that be become "complaining"or anti-American? It's not a Left/Right or Republican/Democrat thing either (as almost every topic these days seemingly revolves around this concept in a nonsensical way of reasoning). It's horseshit. I agree with some others here that note the article makes a bad case for supporting those currently running our country by lamentin

The guy who invented the toilet didn't sing either, yet his invention formed from a notion and changed the world for the better.

True. Concert For Bangladesh, Live Aid, etc. and songs like "Let Them Know It's Christmas" all do this. I also find myself agreeing (to an extent) with goldensmog that NY comes off as a little bitter because he noticed no change when his agenda fell short of the mark. Well, it's NY's take none the less and I disagree with him. A few people have mentioned that music can be a catylst for change and this is my tack. Just like a book or a speech or a thought that turns into a worthwhile cause/invention. I think a better and truer way to look at it is that music has the potential to impact and

I enjoy Aeroplane... but also think it gets a lot more credit than it's due. I think the mystery surrounding the band/lead singer dude adds a mystique to the album that people enjoy. I'm not saying that people who love the album aren't justified but for me the hype supercedes the content. Still, a decent album.

My condolences, Gary. Peaceful thoughts to you and your family.
