It sure like he introduced himself as John Stewart from Wilco. Is it pronounced "SEAR it"? I always pronounced it "sir OTT"?

They should be kicked out of the G8 immediately. Also, other non-military punishments (sanctions, embargoes, etc.). We cannot afford (financially to otherwise) any sort of military response. The danger is Putin keeps grabbing until we can't afford not to respond militarily.

Have you met his parents? I've heard good things about his mom, so you might be right.

Not sure I'd call the proposed cuts modest. Reducing military to pre-WWII levels may very we'll be prudent (not well enough informed), but it seems more than modest.

Interesting question. I've wondered that too and I'm going with no.

The Fault in Our Stars is really damn good. The author seems to be some kind of hipster doofus Renaissance Man. And I mean that in a good way. Check out his crash course videos on youtube, follow him on Twitter, he has lots of thoughts and ideas on lots of topics and they're mostly interesting.

This is perfect in every possible way. http://youtu.be/otRr23Brir8 And a good essay about Fallon. I've got no problem with sarcastic or mean humor. But Fallon has really grown on me the last few years. Excited to see what he brings to 10:30. http://www.npr.org/blogs/monkeysee/2014/02/08/273552036/jimmy-fallon-exits-stage-just-right

I've engaged a young earth creationists high school acquaintance quite a bit on this subject for the past 24 hours and it's only served to depress me. -

They want to dictate educational policy and speak loudly. Rational people must make our voices heard. -

I didn't catch that implication, but I was busy having my own debate on FB and did not hear every word. I am a Christian and a believer in evolution. I would like to hear a debate between Mr. Ham and a faithful Biblical scholar who doesn't believe that Genesis was meant to be literal, scientific truth.
