can't go wrong with Honey Weiss or Leinie Red for that matter. both quality smooth tasting beers, and they also work well for cooking!

this is not an official confirmation and my comment is kind of ridiculous, but as a Milwaukean, and fan of the Brewers, most people who race as the Sausages don't wear Jeans or cool shoes, mostly athletic pants and running shoes. From avclub.com As any Brewers fan will tell you, five people dressed in sausage costumes race each other in the middle of the sixth inning of every home game. Rumors have been circulating all day about Wilco being last night's sausages, but it turns out that only 2/6ths of the band donned the sausage coating: drummer Glenn Kotche and keyboardist Mikael Jorgense

im just a guy who plays guitar at home. not in band. no big musical future. just want to add a little beef to the bones, you know what i mean? i run a epiphone wildkat/fender tele into a 30w Orange Amp. nothing special, nothing professional. i havent seen Orange amps at guitar stores. i'll try out a fender tele at the store with a pedal and see what happens. thanks!

solid reviews....but how do you try out pedals with own guitar/amp without buying them? i guess im stuck buying them. ive thought about the Blues Driver/Bad Monkey, good pedals for the cheap price.
-
for the money, Digitech Bad Monkey seems like a good OD pedal, For the big money, OCD Fulltone seems like a great OD pedal. I just want to amp up my rockabilly leads and occasional Grateful Dead/Ryan Adams & Cards-type jams....

im bummed to hear/read the lackluster reviews. ive had high hopes for the rawlings machine record. he is such a great musician. i will miss his concert in Madison on Dec 7th. (sorry David, Packers MNF game) i will give it a good listen and review.

still after all these years, Im still obsessed! i want/need a DVD of the album recording process to be released with every new album, short 2-30 film with a few jams, interviews, nothing too extremem. LP release of Kicking Television. but then, i dont want to be a greedy, thankless fan. im happy with all that is out there.

ive been itching to get another pedal so i can build a pedal board. been mulling over what kind of OD pedal to get, not sure.

What's the consensus on Wilco (The Album)?
Smokestack Joe replied to Shining Sunbeam's topic in Just A Fan
i liked the album of course but waited for give it a full review after seeing/hearing songs live. After taking in songs in concert, it gives it a new feeling. for example, i played You Never Know on my guitar, and eventhough my singing and struming don't give the song poetic justice, it was fun so i began to appreciate it more. I didnt get into Deeper Down live. maybe it was the arena atmosphere of UIC Pavillion. it would probably be cool at a solo Tweedy show. Sonny Feeling has not grown on me, i like the guitar riff but the lyrics dont do much for me. The live performance adds a littl -

i picked this magazine up two days ago at Barnes & Noble. I was excited to still see it on the shelves. The photographs are quite amazing, professionally lit, very detailed, lively, great enthusiatic interview with Jeff and Nels, you can just tell how much they love guitars and vintage gear. Tweedy mentioned he was sick at the time but couldnt miss talking about his gear. I think this article was one of the more enjoyable articles ive read about Wilco; Cline/Tweedy. -
i used to think that Walk This Way and Sweet Emotion were cool songs. the only good ones by this band. BUT i dont really like the songs and after further review, i'm not digging them at all. I apologize to those who like those songs and/or Janie's Got A Gun or that song from the bruce willis/ben affleck end-of-the-world-movie-bullshit song. EDIT: I like the rolling riff on Sweet Emotion. I dont like Tyler's contribution.

exactly! songs like Dont Get Sentimental On Me, Saturday Night, Everything Dies, When The Wild Wind Blows are classic RA unreleased tunes, so good to not be released officially.

I think the Vikings are lucky to have the Lions after their Bye Week. they won't get pushed around and it won't be a big physical matchup. And its indoors too. That fact is saving Favre thus far.

Warren Peace has some cool songs on it but I really dig the Elizabethtown Sessions.
