I like how they've been going about releasing their music, but $14 for a WAV? You should be able to get a CD with artwork for this price.

Definitely Michael Stipe. It's not like it's been years since he's been seen in public so this is pretty much how he looked last time I saw a pic/vid of him. -
It's currently streaming on the Merge site: http://www.mergerecords.com/store/jukebox2.php?catalog_id=760

When I was a young lad learning to play guitar this Gary Moore solo was one of my faves (spent hours trying to learn it): Solo starts at 2:04 and still sounds amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSVkfhhkEks

I enjoy the solo Prince did on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," he really nails it, but I'd still take the ones he did on "I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man," "Purple Rain" or "Let's Go Crazy" as they're more memorable, pefectly suit the songs melodically and emotionally and don't overstay their welcome. I don't know if he's been mentioned yet, but Elliot Easton of The Cars did some really great guitar work back in the day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gj4Sf5lPSCc

Learned my lesson from the last presale, this time I managed to snag row B center for the 2nd Toronto show. I got row H when I first tried, immediately tried again and B popped up, good enough for me.

R. Stevie Moore - Phonography

A very common refrain indeed, almost every band thinks their latest work is their best. This is why they need producers in the studio because they don't have a good perspective on what's good or bad when it comes to their own stuff.

An interesting journey into a stark and rural small town. I don't think there was a single shot of a sunny day which of course adds to the films bleak look. Some great acting in this one.

I bought that when it came out, watched it once. I wasn't too impressed. It's a doc that reveals very little about the band. I guess the director was trying to be "arty" but for me it's just tedious. A more straightforward doc--interviews, behind the scenes footage, and live footage--would have been more appreciated.

It seems like she's been laying fairly low ever since that old sex video of hers surfaced a few years back. I remember hearing about the video, then suddenly their tour was cancelled. Seems like too much of a coincidence to be ignored.

I caught that, then later on was flipping and saw Todd Rundgren on Fallon and George Clinton/P-Funk on Ferguson. Interesting night for music.

Yeah, a 2nd show would be great, especially as we in Canada get so few Jeff solo shows. [crosses fingers] Our seats are center in the right section which goes up to something like 35 in row C.

Yes, everyone knows that Kanye West is the most overrated. Glad to see some love for Warren, one of the most underrated musicians ever. His self-titled release is in my top 20 or 30 favourite records ever and Excitable Boy is right up there too.

We have 3rd row off to the right side (C30, C31). Hopefully the view isn't too bad from there. It seems okay looking at the photo on the QET site, but I've never been there so I have no idea for sure.

I had the same thing at first and I literally started trying the second the order page went up as I was refreshing the browser quite often. After a few minutes of "no tickets available" coming up I ended up exiting the page and starting again from the home page. It worked that time and I managed to snag 2 in Orchestra C to the right of center stage. Probably could have snagged center stage if things had worked out smoother, but 3 rows back right of center ain't something to complain about.

Just started this one yesterday.
