This apparently won't be up long, but I likey ... http://deathonholiday.blogspot.com/2010/12/one-more-new-ryan-adams-happy-holidays.html

Looping doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I find it fascinating and like to watch these masters (especially Bird) time each move perfectly and hear the build as it progresses. Joseph Arthur does it well too, although to be honest, I haven't really gotten into his music for a while. But hey - I'm a Howe Gelb freak too. Love him! Nice to see two more VC'ers mention his name!

I like seeing animal footprints in the snow, and trying to figure out who/what was in my yard!?! ?

I love it when the tap water comes out really cold!

To my experience, there have been no passwords on wilcoworld presales for a couple of years now. If it is a radio station presale on Ticketmaster or some other promotional presale, you may need a password from that organization. But that has nothing to do with Wilcoworld's presale. Check out Wilcoworld's shows page ... there is a button called "policies" and there you can read a lot of good information. Some of it is updated Nov 2010, so check it out. Now good luck with the ticket rush!

I'm with you. It's a drag.

Gogo, hope you've had a fantastic day! I hear the internet is running out of room, so here's a recycled birthday wish from several years back.

@ "boobie-thing" Yes, I totally remember seeing this video last year too. It's just too funny. So Misswe, is there any chance a video update could be in our future here at VC?

Nothing will ever beat this.

too many now to go back through ... so here goes a video of a live version of Tears For Fears "Everybody Wants to Rule The World" with about a million people on stage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uTe8DVA9Ug

I watched the at-long-last-finally-released documentary "Who Is Harry Nilsson and Why Is Everybody Talking About Him" on DVD last night. This is a very well made documentary. Lots of "extras" I haven't watched, except I did watch the piece with the London Symphony which was beautiful and made me wish he had toured back in the day. So, absolutely I highly recommend it to anyone. You can stream it for free on your computer with a Netflix membership, or it's just $15 on Amazon right now. It moved me in so many ways. The contrast between the highs and the lows in Harry's life were prof

Well, I had to look it up by album cover, and I think it was Phantom Power. I listened a few times through, enjoyed it, but moved on and never got around to listening to more. How does it rank?

(you have to admit, that was a hijacking of epic proportions. It's all good now. ) I have one album by SFA. I enjoyed it but never went back for more. Perhaps I need to renew my efforts. The passage of time often changes my perception of bands.

Hey guys - I know you have a Super Furry Animals thread in "Someone Else's Song" section, so it would be best to head over there for more SFA talk. Thanks - this really isn't the thread for that, I'm sure you'll agree. Back on topic: Here's what Jay Farrar says about Uncle Tupelo ever performing again from this recent (Nov 4, 2010) interview and article by Sally Hedberg, Arts and Entertainment Writer for the Minnesota Daily http://www.mndaily.com/2010/11/04/son-gun

(I Love The Sound of ... ) Breaking Glass by Nick Lowe. Despite the bad video ratio and "squeezed" look to this video, you gotta love the green suit! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AI2k6aseNqg

I liked it. The opening scene was hilarious. It's really great to see him again because I missed Conan!!! I'll definitely keep tuning in.

The Band - Music From Big Pink I never listened to this "back in the day" ... There's just no end to music exploration, is there?

Short answer, Ticketmaster. Bart, the best place to check for ticket information is Wilcoworld. Go to the "shows" page. Covers Wilco and Jeff solo show details. http://www.wilcoworld.net

Not true. VC is not the official fan site for Wilco. It might be the best known, or have the most members, but we have no sponsorship from Wilco or their management. There is nothing "official" about us. Just setting the record straight. I edited out the password because I am also of the belief that The 9:30 Club would not particularly want it posted in public here. The password was meant for the 9:30 Club fans.

Wilco presales have not required special secret ticket-purchasing passwords for quite some time. However, you do need to be a registered member at the wilco ticketing site before you try for tickets on their website. When you register there, you create your own password, much like you did to join VC. As for the IMP presale? Can't help you there. Good luck! Also - I hope it's not a GA show.

I like Los Lobos. Especially this one. But there's so many! ... and as blureu mentioned here, live webcast coming up soon. I'm gonna have to remember to listen to this.

"weren't too bad" -- That was the second greatest show I've seen all year ... and I can't wait to go back to Woodstock for another Levon Ramble. I stood just above Donald Fagen's keyboards and looked down at the master. Black Friday blew my mind! I want to know when Wilco will be invited to a Ramble. MMJ were terrific that night as always. I'm kicking myself that I didn't just stay in the NY area and attend night #1 in NYC on Monday. But just couldn't do it, responsibilities etc.

Calexico - (Sept 15, 2004 - at The Fox in St. Louis) I would like to turn back time and see that show all over again.
