Well, lots of liberals watch Fox so that they can see what the other side is saying, what arguments they're making, etc. Not everyone wants to just hear what they already think parroted back at them. And a lot of people who used to be Wilco fans, but aren't so crazy about the newer stuff, still come here to talk about live shows, the older albums, or just plain non-Wilco-related nonsense. Those things, I understand. It's been discussed here before, and the final verdict is, it's considered inappropriate to discuss the location of the loft. It's not about the expensive equipment, it's about the band's privacy. Yeah, some people do know where it is. But the goal is to not have that information spread any further by anything that's posted on this board.

There's really not been a proper explanation put forward, as far as I know. I was on a conference call last week where someone asked just that, and the guy from the CDC actually said "college students coming back from spring break...?" Dude. We're expecting more from the CD-f'in-C!

Maybe like the rest of us, they needed to buy the Australian release with the bonus tracks, the different colored covers, etc. I haven't had a chance to nose around yet, but I'm hoping to see some foil in there somewhere.

The other day on the Fairly Oddparents, the kid's parents (the real parents, not the oddparents) were in some kind of alternate universe where they never had kids, so they got to do things like go to MARF (the Middle Aged Rock Festival). I think most of my favorite bands could probably headline MARF.
