the only two times i saw TP, i thought he was fine but unfortunately was upstaged by the opening band each time (Replacements in '89; My Morning Jacket in '10). still, you can't deny he was a master craftsman who wrote a lot of great songs and put together a lasting band who was the perfect fit.

the amount of people caught off-guard and offended by the political content of Roger Waters' show is hilarious and perplexing.

i have a bit of a problem w/ some of the production on that record. i love O'Rourke's sound and would be happy if they used him on every record. i'd also be curious to have Albini do an EP for them.
