  1. My husband was quite happy about Lincecum's win. Actually relieved.
  2. I keep saying to myself, "Next song I'll go get a bowl of ice cream" but every "next song" is so good I don't want to miss it!
  3. Well, crap: "We're sorry, CBS Radio is currently unavailable from your location." Was looking forward to this. I guess I could listen to Red Rocks Night Two and pretend it's live from Geneva...or go watch that toilet interview in Just A Fan.
  4. I made these "Sunken Treasure" pins out of Sculpey oven-bake clay. (Sorry the image is so huge.)
  5. berkeley sept 21 berkeley sept 22 jacksonville sept 25
  6. Yeah, fair enough. How about the 2003-10-25 Bridge School version? Lower register. It's a nice one, too.
  7. Slightly off-topic...what is your favourite version of "She's A Jar"? I really like the post-Jay/pre-Pat&Nels arrangement. The 2001-10-05 Majestic Theatre version is gorgeous.
  8. Me, too...very excited! TKOL stuff is sounding really nice live. Perhaps with the exception of "Feral" which I really don't need to hear ever again. Have fun!
  9. The 2010-04-02 Wellmont Theatre version is very pretty. Jeff says it's probably the "quietest song in the Wilco catalogue." Then he gives out some "free dinner" vouchers.
  10. Nice to see they've closed with "Reckoner" a few times on this leg of their tour. Such a great song. Newark night one is up on dime!
  11. No, I'm going to the Toronto show on the 16th. Have fun!
  12. Have a great time! (Personally, I can't wait to see them do "There There" with 4 of the 6 guys pounding on drums!)
  13. Wow, nice setlist, especially the encores! Of the new(ish) stuff I'm really digging "The Daily Mail" and "Identikit". Glad you had a good time.
  14. "California Stars" on CBC Radio Two Morning
  15. "One Wing" is a pretty incredible song, especially live.
  16. Man, I forgot how much I love KT! I listened to it at the gym this morning after having taken a bit of a break from Wilco. Jeff's vocals are outstanding. I especially love this version of "Hell Is Chrome"
  17. June 16: Radiohead - Downsview Park, Toronto Wishful thinking: Wilco, SF area, Sept/Oct
  18. I hope you folks in SoCal get a few more again, too. Our fingers are crossed for a San Fran area show in which case a roadtrip will be in order. Some Giants baseball for the husband and a Wilco show for me!
